Disgusted! – Not a nice experience. Staff are extremely unpleasant. I was verbally abused by a staff member presumably having a bad day. Completely ruined the experience but they are non-apologetic. My biggest mistake was buying a ticket and hoping for a relaxing, pleasant afternoon.
Standing Ovation – I don't know where to begin. Theatre Royal in Sydney, is quickly becoming my favourite theatre. This modern venue for live performances has it all. easy access through Martin Place Station, or stroll from QVB or Wynyard. Comfy seats, a large bar area, and an adjoining food court (MLC). Staff are excellent and very helpful, and cloakroom services available. Tonight's performance of An American In Paris, has been the highlight of 2022 thus far. The principals this night were Robert Fairchild and Leanne Cope, and indeed, the whole cast, were first rate performers. Their singing, dancing and acting were superb, and when set to the music of George and Ira Gershwin, you have an unbeatable formula for 5 star entertainment. Songs include I Got Rhythm, S Wonderful, But Not For Me and They Can’t Take That Away From Me and more.
