wish i'd seen these reviews - this company shouldn't be allowed to be trading in Australia - they have no customer service - they delivered me the wrong coloured unit, and i've been waiting over 7 weeks for them to send me the correct colour, they are now saying they won't exchange or refund it - they should be forced to close down - do not buy anyting from them!!!!
CAUTION Very dodgy business! This person WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN! How a business responds to an issue or complaint is the real indication of its quality. The negative reviews here of TLA are spot on: this person will not acknowledge any errors or issues with your purchase, instead, he is evasive, hiding behind his “company” with no ethics or… Read more
professionalism and will simply ignore you. You would be better off buying similar (if not the very same!!) products off Ebay, at much much less cost, and you would likely have more consumer protection. As far as the product quality, these are cheap imports, of poor plastic quality and hugely overpriced. I encourage you to report this person/business to the Office of Fair Trading in Qld and ACCC if you’ve had a negative experience.
Don’t use this company. You cannot get a response from them they ignore you and do not answer the phone. I sent my light back as it stopped working for them to fix and they cannot communicate anything and I’m worried I’m ever going to get it back
Be careful of faulty products - possible electrocution – Purchased gave mask, colour changing. First time I went to use it, the black power box sparked and blew. Luckily I did not have it on my face. Contacted the company who have blamed it on me for plugging it into an open power source. I don't know what that means... I plugged it into a normal household power point, what else do you plug them in to??… Read more
They also said I should have read the instructions on their website, they are not. Very nasty and very rude when dealing with a fault. Mask is also BERY heavy to hold in hands so probably lucky I didn't try my face, probably would have done some damage.
Painful facial mask – They sell a known facial mask product which causes pain in the form of pressure injuries, due to heaviness after 1 minute. Pain is terrible. Loose or tight it hurts. They said their blog recommends a more expensive panel than a mask as they are trying to upsell, but does not address the severity of the pain just potential discomfort. Though they… Read more
continue to sell it. I see by other review including glassdoor management have issues even with their staff, They have indicated that will not respond further even though it meets the ACCC unsafe product instance. This has put me off buying a panel. So I am going to a competitor company.
Terrinle customer service – When I needed a replacement cord for a wrap, they said it was not part of the warranty as there was a kink in the cord. They then said they will replace it as long as I pay for the postage. So, I agreed to do this. I had to remind them to send me an invoice so I know where to make the payment to. That was back on May 17, and now it is July 6, and… Read more
no cord has arrived. I have messaged them on the f'acebook group, after many attempts on their service (ahem) email got no replies. The wraps themselves are OK, but the customer service on anything after that, forget it.
Total Dissatisfaction – Terrible service product has not arrived yet ordered mid June. No tracking info available. Said it was held up at Bundall with Aus Post on 1st call second call said it was with some other company. Called support twice Person on phone was rude and unhelpful. Asked for a refund but they refused, saying I would have to wait for delivery and return it. Obviously at my expense. Agree with all other comments re appalling service.
Terrible – Garbage company. Were wonderful when I was looking to purchase but as soon as product arrived and didn't do as intended, all emails to them promptly ignored. Device itself is useless, doesn't reduce any pain, inflammation or heal skin. They also only approve 5 star ratings so a negative review is never gonna show up on their website. Save your money and get another brand.
Numerous purchases and always great service – The thing about these review sites is that it's generally the people with a "bad" experience who take the time to post reviews, often under numerous different names. Seeing these negative reviews , prompted me to stop being lazy. So let me give you a different perspective. I have ordered 6 different products from them, over a number of years. So… Read more
has my father, my son, my niece, her father in law and her colleagues from work. We've all had a great experience. Quick shipping, lots of support, wonderful products and good results from an Australian company. So I haven't had to order from overseas with expensive shipping and import costs. One of my panels is now over 4 years old, no problems at all after daily use. Is the company perfect? Probably not but I can only comment on how they've always gone the extra mile with me and those I know.
Terrible customer service and Warranty Policy – BUYER BEWARE!!! - if I could leave NEGATIVE stars i would. 11 months after purchasing a TLA mat for over $2000 it had a fault where 3/4 of the led's stopped working. Two emails were sent to TLA advising of the issue which went unanswered until I telephoned them. The service agent Jon asked me for the email address I used so he could find it and… Read more
that I'd have a response later that day, then promptly hung up in my ear. I received a response later that day advising that the "warranty" was deemed void by the service department, because in the photo i sent, it appeared to have "kinks" and only had 14 days warranty period left. I was however offered the purchase of replacement mat of a different model for the discounted price of $649 (because the one I bought is no longer stocked). Having spent such a sizeable sum of money ($2K), this mat was cared for accordingly and stored in the manner described in manual by using the storage bag that was provided with the product. When i rang back to discuss this response, the conversation started ok until I asked that the faulty product be repaired or replaced under warranty. Jon then became very abrupt and advised that this would not happen and the offer they sent via email was the only one they would do. I informed him that this went against Australian consumer law and that i would be pursuing it further. His response was that he knows consumer law and doesn't have to put up with this and to correspond further only by email, then again hung up in my ear. At no point in any conversations had I become aggressive or patronizing, but obviously people that have had unfavorable responses from TLA have acted that way before me. And as such TLA has a well-seasoned response for any negative feedback that is directed towards them.
Didn’t receive items I ordered – Ordered a red light pad and goggles. Even though the shipping email said all items shipped, I never received the goggles or got my money back. Emailed the customer service, after the third email they replied they didn’t get the other emails. Funny that I always got a ‘we’re on it’ email so I have proof they got it. Then again (!) didn’t get nack to me and don’t have my money back. Worst shop experience!
TLA do NOT honour their warrantee – TLA [Name Removed], I bought one of your red right therapy pads and within 32 days it stopped working i.e. I contacted you to repair, replace or refund me on this item. Any niceties stopped from this point forward. Your customer service is fantastic when you're selling items but it soon degrades to revolting when you are called to honour the… Read more
advertised warrantee. When the product arrived I would have rated it a 5 but within a month I rate it and your customer service below 1.
DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE FROM THIS BUSINESS – I ordered a Red Light Therapy Pad from this business it was posted and received very quickly On opening it became very obvious that what I ordered and paid for was not the same item. I ordered a 40cm x 30cm Red light Pad to treat a specific area I received a 115cm x 20cm x 30cm length waist band I immediately rang the business the next day… Read more
alerting them to the mistake I was told to wait for an email from them telling me what would happen next. I asked why we could not discuss the problem right then. I was told wait for email. Over several emails I was informed of the following That the item sent was of a superior quality and people preferred what they received. I in fact had requested this item above the one ordered. I was told notes were taken. No discussion occurred I asked for a copy of the notes. I was then told I had been confused with another person - Sorry I was asked to send photos of the item received- which I did As there was no offer to return nor exchange the item I immediately package up the order and returned via Australia Post I insured and requested a signature I have lodged a dispute with Paypal and currently going through their system I have just received a further email from Therapy Lights stating that there are signs of use and they are refusing a refund and stating that they had been willing to send a replacement. This did not occur in any of the email exchange nor in the one short phone call made on the initial contact I have another red light therapy device, so I had no need to use the incorrect one sent. My reason for this further purchase was to treat an injury and the small pad would have made it a lot easier I would not recommend using this company if their way of managing there interaction with me is an indication of their business model The cost of the device was $424.15 My postage cost was $31.20
Further update PayPal requested the seller refund my money, which they complied with. Without the… Read more
