Thermoskin Thermal Lumbar Support

Well supported – If you know the pain of a herniated disc,I recommend a Thermoskin Lumbar Support. At $84.89 it is expensive but stabilising giving a lot of relief making it worth every cent..there are cheaper ones available but they do not give a fraction of the support that the Thermoskin Lumbar Support gives. It is adjustable for your comfort. I bought mine from The Wholelife Pharmacy at Redland Bay.
Amazing support – I have had a bad back for a number of years, sometimes good but can be totally debilitating when bad. Can only stand for short periods. Working at the Bathurst 12 Hour on the weekend another marshal lent me his Thermoskin adjustable lumbar support after l struggled on the first day. I completed the day with no pain at all and the next day my back was totally pain free. It works amazingly well. The heat is not hot but certainly noticeable. I am searching to buy one now. I cannot recommend any higher. An excellent product.
Not for women, the overweight, or elderly – This product is definitely only suitable for men of a normal weight range. I am female and overweight. There is no way it would remain near the coccyx, as soon as you bend over it rides up, and then concertinas near the front, which is very uncomfortable and causes itching and skin damage. Men and women are different anatomically, pelvis size and shape, musculature, fat deposits. This really should be addressed with marketing warnings. It states it is suitable for those with spondylolisthesis, not if you are female!
This really helped a sore and aching lower back! – Recently searched for a lumbar support that both looked strong and durable plus wasn't bulky. Settled on this affordable 'Thermoskin' Lumbar Support product (from a Chemist shop) and have been very satisfied with how well it supports my back and reduces the aches going on there. Makes me sit and stand more correctly, supports my back during all activities- indoors and out, plus driving too. I like the way it is extra adjustable via the extra side straps too.
Disappointed. 'Thermal' isn't warm at all – I bought this because my lower back gets sore after gardening and housecleaning and during my period. Thermoskin promotes their thermal products as having a 'Trioxon' advantage, that is, a special lining that "promotes increased blood flow" and is "clinically tested to increase the skin and muscle temperature". But it does little more than wearing a medium weight cotton top. I get far more warmth from an ordinary wool or polar fleece jumper. Yes, the shape of the brace itself does give some support but there's none of the heat that was promised, and it's a very expensive item for a piece of thin foam and a few bits of elastic. Would not recommend for thermal use - put on a warm jumper instead.
