Ticketek then admitted the barcodes were static and that the scanners accept screenshots. So their "security" is a barcode anyone can copy. My account had two-factor authentication, nothing was transferred, and their own audit found no unauthorised login. Their response? Refuse the refund and suggest my account was probably hacked, with zero evidence.
There is no phone number to call. Two weeks of emails ended in a "final determination" that they keep my money while I get nothing.
Ticketek built a system that lets someone else walk in on your ticket, then blames you for it. Appalling. Now with the Office of Fair Trading.

Marketplace but neglected to advise that this concert was not available for resale. When I contacted Ticketek again they said that refunds weren’t at their discretion but at the discretion of the venue and promoter. So basically refundable tickets are simply a means of generating more revenue. What a scam!!

After writing to the AFL they advised that only ticketek could authorise refunds, they're partners so probably both lying. After refusing to accept the response from ticketek they finally asked for bank account details to process the refund, now they claim it could take up to 30 days to process. Very frustrating that there is no alternative when orgs. choose to sell through these "guilt free" third parties, but be sure to challenge their greed and deceit, persist and you can hold them to account!

Jim was the funniest comedian I have seen in a long time. And to unexpectedly meeting him after the show and give him a hug was the icing on the cake. Will definitely go back again to see him

Very uplifting and put a smile on my face ! Nat Bassingthwaite, Rob Mills and John Waters were fabulous, as well as the whole cast. Gareth Isaac almost stole the show !

Waitress the musical was fantastic! We enjoyed every minute off it. It was better than exoected, from props, costumes, the acting. It was funny, dramatic and a little sad, it realky had everything.

market place. I can only assume this is done to make their numbers look good, or maybe artificiality inflate their bank accounts for extra borrowing power. I would have kept the tickets if I had known the money would not be paid to me until 30 days after the event. Their reasons for doing this are dubious at best. They have double the money now, they reissued the tickets to the person who bought them. Its beyond ridiculous. STAY AWAY from this predatory service!

Still locked – I have the app and bought tickets $400 and 3 days before the event tickets still locked.so rang and tryed to sort out and there telling me that they are unlocked so took a picture and sent it to show still locked..ended having to go all the way in… Read more
there to sort out and drop tickets off to people I bought them for ..not happy I will never buy through app agian and all the other people that also had the same problem and were waiting in the line at the box office were very angry having to have a day off work to sort this out so close to the event. So I have checked agian next day and still locked and event is tomorrow lucky I went in there yesterday morning and got tickets. Poor people who haven't done this. bad business ticketek..

Follow-up · We stayed at a hotel near by so not sure how the parking is at the venue but the venue itself and seating was fantastic.

Hard to use, tricky to navigate and choose seats (and god forbid you want a single seat!) without having to sign in and then resign in, and then change your password and try again. Ticketek's only redeeming feature is the function to utilise qantas FF points. Which helps cover those unnecessary fees they tack on. Why do orgs keep using this shit? There are other platforms.

Poor customer service.. i wish I could give zero stars. You pay extra for refundable tickets but unless they decide your request is valid you wont get one if you a dying in bed you MUST send proof to get a refund. I will never use them again, your system is a joke.
