I also have been trying to resolve an issue with Ticketek regarding the purchase of tickets on Jan 26th that I have not received; however, payment has been taken. I have been attempting to resolve an issue with Ticketek regarding a purchase since the 10th September (the day I purchased my tickets) I have sent several emails, made three phone calls. The phone customer service have advised i need to wait for my online request to be responded to. I have sent follow up emails to my original request (now two months ago), with not a single word back from ticketek! How can i speak to someone regarding this issue ASAP as the event is in January

Their apology is not sincere and they don't care. The "oops this is unexpected" error has been around for years now. I spent 2 hours trying over and over again to transfer 3 tickets. We need competition and an alternative to Ticketek ASAP.

In July, I booked tickets to the Shamrock Tenors for Oct 12th in Adelaide. On 2nd Sept, I received an email cancelling the concert and reassuring me that I didn’t need to worry as my refund would be in my bank account probably within 5 days and maybe up to 20 days. Well, that hasn’t happened and I want my money back. I tried fill in the Submit a Request for at about the 18 day mark but it would let me submit as the concert had been removed from the drop down list and would accept a manual entry. I could not find a phone number so rang the Accessibility number and was told it could take up to 30 days! On 7/10, I tried the Submit a Request form again and this time, my concert was listed, yay! But again I was unable to submit my form. We are now up to 37 business days with no refund or communication. This is my last effort before going to my Consumer Affairs dept. I am very disappointed with the very poor service I have received and annoyed at the time I’ve spent trying to get my refund particularly when it is such an easy task for Ticketek to perform on their booking software.

I tried to look for my recent purchased ACDC tickets and am unable to see my tickets as there is an issue with Ticketek app, saying This was unexpected, please try again. You hit the try again button and it just goes around and around. This is deeply concerning as what if happens on the day. Ive sent a request for help drom Ticketek, but my request is in the queue. I am deeply concerned about Ticketek app.
Hi Caz, We’re sorry to hear you’ve been having trouble accessing your ACDC tickets through the Ticketek app. Please note that tickets for AC/DC will display with locked barcodes until closer to your show date, usually becoming available 24 to 48 hours before the event. Tickets are currently not available.
Thank you for your response. So, you can assure me that the Ticketek app will work perfectly when tickets are available? It just doesnt work now, as i have no tickets as such, is that how the app works? Because, this reoccuring message of “this was unexpected, please try again” and that not working , is very concerning and i dont need the added stress on the day. Thanks

Customer Service with Ticketek seems to be a thing of the past. I purchased tickets for the Primary School Festival of Music to see my daughter perform, somehow i got tickets for the wrong night.
I submitted a request to exchange the tickets (3800882), but I have yet to receive a response. In the past, when customer service was accessible, simple human errors like this could be resolved quickly and easily.
I have also contacted the call centre, but they were unable to provide any meaningful assistance. They could not give me a contact number to escalate the matter, an estimate of how long my exchange request might take to be processed, or any guidance on whether I should purchase new tickets for the correct date and request a refund for the original booking.
This lack of support and basic customer service has left me highly frustrated and uncertain how to proceed.

I just tried to but tickets to the vixens Thunderbirds netball game on the 6/7/25 and paid with afterpay. My daughter and a friend purchased vip tickets for Gracie Abrams in Adleiade and once at the concert they were told ticketek labelled the tickets wrong and they werent vip so they didn't get the vip merchandise pack. Sorry that's not ok as we paid a premium price for those tickets thinking it was the vip package. I would like to get what ny daughter and friend paid for . Without a response I will go to the ACCC

Does anyone have any advice re Ticketek please? I bought two tickets to Jimmy Carr for next year. The money was taken from my account there and then, several weeks ago. I’ve never even received so much as a confirmation email! I have attempted to contact them on any number I can find and I’ve emailed them several times - but still nothing. The customer service is non existent. I wish I’d had purchased them through a different ticket provider now. I will report to ACCC but I’m not sure if it’s within their jurisdiction to help? Has anyone got any other advice please?

Hi, I purchased 2x tickets to the Boyzlife concert at The Star Casino on the Good Coast for 10/4/25. The show was cancelled and I received an email saying I would be refunded within 30 days. It has now been over 40 days and no response. I have sent multiple emails and requests via their website. They are not contactable by phone and I need this money refunded urgently. I have been emailing Ticketek with no answer back regarding 2 x set of tickets (Drake and Billie Eilish) that were illegally sold on Marketplace due to their site having no real security or 2FA. I was promised a refund 3 weeks ago, and after many emails, I still have not had one person get back to me. They promised me if I purchased more tickets we would receive a refund ASAP on the original stolen tickets. Now I am stuck in a financial situation. Would like to know is the NSW Ombudsman the best place to make a complaint?

There are 2 customer care numbers, My first enquiries #3466687 and then another one when I messaged inquiring where my refund is #3519565 (which noone has responded too(. I did not have the funds to repurchase tickets because of ticketeks security failings, but was promised that a refund would be the following week. If I don't hear back today I am going to have to go to the Ombudsman. Thank you

I have been told it was paid - but no money has arrived in my accounts. So I ask for proof of payment, day payment was made, the amounts paid and NOTHING. As a family, we are now in desperate need of money. When I purchased the tickets the last time after MY TICKETS were sold, I bought them in good faith, as I was told by the ticketek staff I would be getting a refund. Your system is all wrong, I should never have been put in that position. Can someone please let me know something?
I would also like to add that I was contacted by Albert Brooks from A Current Affair in February, asking to go on to discuss what was happening, but out of good faith in the promise my money would be returned, I decided not to. I will consider contacting Albert soon if this is not sorted . Near $2000 of my money gone because of ticketeks dodgy website, in this economy - we need to pay bills!

Ticketek uses the most useless system ever and don't even have customer service. I am missing out on an AFL game because I couldn't purchase through their system. They blocked my card for no reason at all and there's nobody I can call at Ticketek to fix it, I have to lodge an online form and by the time they look at it if they ever do, the tickets will be all gone. Why do they have such a monopoly when they are so useless.
