We bought the paint kit from Tint to paint some walls. The brushes were ok but the painters tape ripped up a great deal of the existing paint we were trying to protect from the ceiling once removed. We now need to buy more paint to repaint sections of the cornices that we weren't planning to touch. The generic masking tape from the supermarket came off with no issues.
Do not use – This paint sucks and I wish I never used it. A lot of paint doesn’t go far at all - even doing two coats of primer, still needed at least 3 coats as well. coats). The painter wouldn’t even use the leftover tint paint we had and said it was no good. Really wanted to love it and support an Australian business but it has made our home renovations a bit of a nightmare.
Fantastic paint – When researching paints for my garage door and fence project there weren't a lot of reviews on Tint paint apart from their website. When comparing Tint to other premium brands I found the price was better than others in the 10L range however, would love Tint to make 15L for the domestic market. ironstone. The paint is as they say, low/no odour, the match was spot on and I sprayed my old garage roller door with one coat of prep plus and 2 coats of exterior top coat and I love the result. The other negative I have is the shipping took a couple days longer than expected which wasted two good painting days, however they are third party to Tint. Good job Tint, I am very happy I took the leap to give your paint a go.

Couldn’t be happier! – I can’t rate Tint highly enough! From start to finish, my experience was fantastic and I definitely won’t be going anywhere else for my painting needs from now on. Ordering was simple, and the price was very competitive with the big stores. My paint and supplies arrived in 2 days via express post, all wrapped up nicely.
The paint itself goes on so beautifully and smoothly, and true to their claims it really doesn’t smell at all. I was genuinely surprised that I couldn’t smell anything. It dried quickly and I only needed 2 coats to completely cover a white wall.
I would also highly recommend their painter’s tape!
