hi there can anybody tell me how they are installed?
are they hardwired in or all in one unit?
Four medium bolts into the ceiling. I put a chipboard panel on the ceiling to make easier to position the fastenings. Power can be hard-wired or via a conventional 3 pin plug.
It comes as a single unit. My husband (a bit of a handyman) installed ours on the ceiling in the Laundry. As Peter has stated, just make sure you have it positioned where it can be fastened safely. Biggest issue is making sure you have power running to it and to the location of the controller. Wasn't an issue for us as we knew where all our house wiring was.
