Thought I had the best TV – This Tv was my pride and joy, saved up for it for a while then I finally got it,everything was the best, great tv to watch, my friends thought it was magnificent. Then after about 10 months the globe went on it. Was under warranty so no hassles, then around 10 months later the globe went again, still under warranty, but now I was concerned as next time the warranty wouldnt cover the cost of a new globe !! 13 months later the globe went again,Toshiba paid for the installation i paid for the globe, 11 months later it went again, purchased another globe. Now my TV is sitting at home doing nothing because the globe has gone again, I refuse to pay for this again. I have purchased a $6000 tv, was told plasmas back then wouldnt last as long as this Tv, now I have bought 3 globes in 3 years at a cost of $440 ( not to mention the 2 supplied under warranty). I now have a tv that is going to cost me $140 a year to run, not happy with Toshiba at all !! I have spoken to toshiba about this and they dont really want to help me out with the purchase of a new Tv or offer suggestions for me. I suppose they have my money now,..... thanks Great Tv great veiwing great size. Had 5 globes replaced since I have owned it. was told I would get more time out of the globes that I actually do get. when I weighed the situation up it I should have purchased a plasma a bit smaller and just let it die. I could have purchased three plasmas for the price I paid for this TV. Feel totally ripped off !!
