Total AV

had this for 2 or 3 years, been ok, had a debit attempt on a credit card (unauthorised?) by total AV this year, bank blocked it, not sure what the go was with that. Replaced PC with a laptop recently, not tech savvy so hoping your system recognizes that my subscription is valid until March 2027.

I would give 5 stars except whilst doing the scan it significantly slows down my computer system to the point where it is difficult to use anything whilst the scan is happening

explain & even sent email proof of canceling I got replies from different customer service reps each time. Then finally after several hours I finally got AV canceled & got my refund. Then it further get's interesting when ADBLOCK also stops working. Finally come to find out after purchasing ADBLOCK for 1 year @ 23.00 it will NOT function unless you also have a subscription to AV, which I DO NOT want. Now I have to fight to get my $23.00 refunded...which I'll probably just chalk up to a bad experience. Bottom line, ADBLOCK is great is great as long as you also want AV.

didn’t need it as Apple has all the protection I need it, so I didn’t worry and I deleted the application and removed all my information, however they keep charging my CC, but I’m very lucky as my bank keep declining the charge. Horrible company!!

they ignore cancellation – I had signed up to a plan which involves automatic renewal annually - I cancelled (which they make excessively difficult) and got an acknowledgement of that - now they send me an email saying they had tried to charge me for a renewal but (fortunately) that failed (as the card account had been closed). Don't trust these people.

The software is fine. However, they don't let you know before auto renewing it, once they have taken the payment only you get the bill which will be very high. It seems people are struggling with cancellation as well.. This company should improve… Read more

the billing practices , advance notifications and transparency if people want to trust this company again.

Downloaded total av, programme took some time to go thru all files, but installation was very through, so am happy with this security conversation of total av, hopefully this will give me confidence each time I log on knowing I have total web security back up from all scams.

I've used other brand leader computer security devices however Total AV seems to do a much better job in as much when I decided to purchase AV I had a message on my computer telling me I had 12 viruses, Total AV destroyed these before it was even fully installed.

The program seems to do the job ok but it does lose a star because of an annoying action. I have been getting blocked from accessing links in a subscribed email newsletter that I know is safe. There is no way of bypassing the block or reporting the fact that I believe there is a mistake. This needs to be addressed to get the extra star.

Tried this app. Just try to cancel your subscription!!! Is there such a thing as a "legal scam" It's so bad my bank has informed me they are now AUTOMATICALLY stopping all direct debits/ payments to this company. Due to the sheer number of complaints/disputes from customers "trying" to get away from this company That should tell you all you need to know

Do not go with this company they deny all knowledge of you having an account with them even after sending them personal proof and still continue to take money from your bank!! My bank has had to block them and I've got to get a new card!! How they have got 4 stars on trusted I will never know!! Horrible vile company do not use!!!

Scammers! They lure you in with a good price offer, then take multiple amounts of money from your account for a one-year subscription. They stole about 200 euros from my card. Stay away from them!

buying. People there haven't gotten out of 1st grade yet. Took 15 minutes to cancell and get money back. Continued to try to sell more. Tried Total AV and it did not work on the original install. Clicked everything to unsubscribe in the free trial period, which again did not seem to load or process. to the account. Tried to reset the account but the two step verification would come 12 hours later at 1am, and seemed to have a set period to use as none of them would connect when I tried in the morning.

Went to the bank to stop the payment and they were unable to assist until the payment went through. This is again consumed another 2 days of my life.

The amount charged does not reflect the original offer amount ( I am serious about taking screenshots of any payment prior to processing, for this very reason). Total AV has consumed more of my time than their service is worth. Reason I discontinue as it did not seem to mesh with my 2016 macbook.

I have been using Malwarbytes ever since and works on Ipads, Asus laprop, Samsun A54 and the old faithful 2016 Macbook. Price for MalwareBytes is almost the same but the service seems second to none. Ony down side with the Malwarebytes is that it can consume band width for short periods of time but user interface is great.

I wish I could say the same positive things about Total AV but I can't. Considering the time spent dealling with the fallout and lack of response and as I consider my time valuable, they are the most expensive Virus software and VPN. Save yourself frustration before clicking, Accept Free Trial.

These bast#rds take money from your account with no warning and then refuse to communicate with you. Their website show reviews that have been faked to make them look good. External reviews show their true calibre - CROOKS. Cancelled my account and they refuse to give the money back.

customer services and received a standard notification which I think was AI generated and was expecting to receive a personal message .I requested a refund of the amount charged via my paypal account but to date after a number of requests for a refund I have still not received a personal message from Total AV customer services ..I have taken the trouble to post a review as I was very disappointed with the customer services ,,,I am a sickly pensioner and explained my position to Total AV .via an e mail .I have not received any private or personal reply . This software is a scam. They make it impossible to cancel your subscription and there is no telephone number to call if things go wrong. Avoid Total AV at all costs

The wost outcome ever, worst customer experience, asked for credit card details to establish who I am as a paid consumer. App continued to reload waisting data. I am sick of being scammed. This is a real review from a real person.
