We have several hundred domains with TPP Wholesale and no service for resellers puts us in a very difficult position. There are some instances where we need support but having to wait days and in some cases weeks for tickets to be answered in unreasonable. Customers expect quick responses even when the problems are their fault. For resellers, there is such a small markup of domains that the time spent is costing us money.

Impossible to talk to anyone, they say their phone lines are unavailable when called, Ticket system customer service does not deal with issue. Thus i suggest you use another business.. I will be transferring to another supplier as i cant resolve issue. DO NOT USED THIS TPP UNLESS YOU WANT ISSUES AND THE ISSUES NOT BEING ADDRESSED

Ive been a reseller for 20 years, service has gone from average to nothing. Now I cant even edit my dns records. I think they have introduced a charge for me to edit my own records hmmmm I do the work and I pay you for the privilege.

Have been with TPP for about 15 years. Lately all support seems to have stopped. Also the interface really needs an update. Will definitely be moving to another provider.

Speed... I Love Going Fast – So far any problem I've encountered has been dealt with immediately and more often resolved quickly. Before the TPP takeover I moved most of my domains away due to the very poor service or lack of service, but now I'm seriously considering bringing many my domains back to the TPP account... The documentation is pretty much a copy/paste of cPanel documentation, so it is extensive. It does not contain anything regarding specific locale though, or any useful reference about transferring existing websites. The TPP website for account holders has a couple of confusing notifications on some of the pages, as to be seen in the Hosting section: "There is currently no web hosting service associated with mywebsite.com" Well no, as I am not a reseller, but yet the site is hosted. And their email page: "There is currently no email service associated with mywebsite.com" Yes there is, it's an M365 one, not purchased from TPP though. And any extra FTP accounts created from "FTP Accounts" get "access denied" through a client. The staff although friendly enough, are not wont to deviate from their remit to help customers experiencing difficulties, justifiable perhaps, if their own personal experiences from other organisations have been likewise. The site backup being basic yet workable, there is no "offsite" storage, only your own or the server's. Jet is for business accounts. OTOH, once your site is up and running, and getting the extra mileage from various cPanel utilities, it's quite surprising to see how well it performs. Thus 5 stars for cPanel, their support and forums, 3 stars for adequate service from TPP.

Good tech support – There have been issues (which I put down to migrating several platforms into one) but I found that each time, when notified, the tech support team went straight in and fixed the problem. I did not get the "runaround" common to so many supposedly tech support teams.

Great Service – Lana has been very helpful as a dedicated manager. Good team and system. Let's see what's next to come! Hoping for a Wordpress plugin at some stage, that would be great.

If there were zero stars I'd give it zero. I am a reseller and back to the days of webarama over 20 years ago. I'll be as soon as I find someone and a simple way to move domains. Absolute trash now.

I was a reseller with PlanetDomain (pre 2010) which eventually became TPP wholesale. I have hundreds of domains in my account and on behalf of clients. TPP wholesale have gone from being a mixed bag support-wise, sometimes good - sometimes not, to being completely asleep at the wheel. No responses, no information, nothing. useless, the support tickets are just completely unanswered.

The automation parts mostly work, e.g. moving a domain name away so we're trying to leave... but some domains are broken and there is literally no one to fix or address issue. I have key domains that can't be unlocked (via API or their platform) therefore can't be transferred (because they're locked) the DNS doesn't resolve and TPP just ignore ALL support tickets.

Its an absolute abomination. After years of support we're treated like garbage.

We want to leave... but it looks like domains with problems will be rendered useless and we'll have to escalate to ICANN or AUDA. I wonder if anyone in a similar position is interested in a class action?

My domains aren't even working. support is in radio silence. not sure what's going on with this company but I would advise transfering away all your domains and hosting asap.

Have been with TPPWholesale as a reseller for many years. Right now, in 2025 I would say that support has completely stopped. Live Chat, emails, phone calls go nowhere. Recently waited 4 full weeks for a reply to a simple question. The reply was 'sorry for the delay responding, we are very busy, we'll get back to you soon'. Avoid this company like the plague.

Used to be great, cant call, cant get a chat going, when AI does log a chat nothing happens. Support tickets take ages if your lucky enough to get a response at all. We are looking at easy ways to move over 300 domains away from them. As this sort of support or lack of it is unsustainable ! They are wasting our time now and its costing us money. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE !

Not even sure they deserve 1 star? No response from their customer service upon request upon request. My domains have gone missing in the panel and no one's responding???!!! Contact auDA but its just another complaint.... TPP has absolutely gone down the drain.

Just seems like they are too big to really care and really are embarrassing to work with for clients. Support always wants to differ the responsibility to someone else. Nothing gets dealt with beyond a superficial level of help. Used to be decent many years ago. Have to report real, verifiable bugs over and over to get action.

Without doubt this company is in the top 3 worst companies for customer service I've ever dealt with. They literally ignore support emails, delete support emails without replying, and if they do actually reply, the average reply timeframe is 5-7 days. Their domain system is so bad that it continually breaks or has problems and you cant get support to resolve it.

Transferring a domain – What a drama transferring a domain away fro TPP Wholesale. Provided all the information but it takes 5 days unless you request it be expedited so after 2 exhausting phone calls guess what - nothing sorted and status quo. Its an absolute joke and soooo inefficient in trying to get a simple task done wit TPP Wholesale. I would suggest any other domain registrar then TPP Wholesale.

Worst internet wholesaler ever ! Go ELSEWHERE- DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR – This company used to be fantastic, 24 hour service and you had (for resellers) your own Manager. Now they have scrapped all that. All off shore, only weekday, business support and all Managers gone. Support appears to be India or Phillipines. Support is just PATHETIC. Yet another lousy interaction with TPP – Weeks of trying to have a solution found and still nothing. Lots of "we will escalate it" but unfortunately nothing happens. Save you money and spend it with and even cheaper and nastier hosting wholesaler

each other that are encased in unnecessary helping functionality and messy password and security controls. TPP was always a great provider. But, somewhere along the way, they Microsofted it. They used the old Microsoft developer adage of ' if it works perfectly, change it'. I don't know what it is about the new configurations that don't work properly now; but after 10 years of using Dreamweaver to upload and edit websites for clients, I now cannot get into anything. I can't change passwords without knowing the old password, even if I have already logged into the site; i cannot track the constantly changing server names; the domain server default always defaults to the wrong domain servers and has to be changed for each new site; the c-panel always seems to be in the process of updating to a new version; and (my most common current complaint) I have to update passwords to increasingly complicated passwords based on a scale of who knows to something else to end up with a magical 65 rating comprising upper case lower case, numbers specials and my last tarot card reading. ENOUGH already!!!! Just let me take control of my own account and make my own choices. After all, it was only a year or so ago when you were hacked and a stack of accounts where taken over. My password control was fine, but yours was found to be lacking!

Unrealistic Document Control – Inept and inefficient. Have purchased a business and TPP cannot transfer ownership, even though original owner has provided a copy of passport as proof of identity and signed trust page. Website is still down. Now will not even update email address. If I could give minus 100 stars I would.

the correct details, at one stage some woman working with customer service changed my AA records without my permission and turned off my website when my email accounts were not working. No replies to emails or feedback , and not even a reply when i asked to use their complaints resolution.

Ive been here for 16 years - no more! – These guys have failed me miserably, they've started costing me money and the support is useless. Whenever I have an issue, chat and email usually end up in not being resolved and phoning ends up either not connecting or dropping out. This has happened approximately 20 times in the past two weeks. Time to avoid these guys like the plague!.

Horrible Horrible Service – Honestly, I have never dealt with worse people than TPP. They should all be footballers because in terms of kicking you to someone else they are the BEST!!! For the rest good luck! I have been trying to get an issue resolved with my domain names for months and no one seems to be bothered to want to do anything!

I've used more than dozen hosting providers. TPP is the worst – I've been an IT service provider for about a decade and I've used more than a dozen domain, DNS and hosting providers over that time. TPP's systems are the worst I've ever had the displeasure to use. Their DNS goes up and down like a yo-yo. Some of their servers are so out of date that you can't get access to anything close to recent versions of PHP (I recently moved a site off a server here running 5.4, six years past end-of-life). Their support is so-so -- sometimes good, sometimes bad -- but the systems themselves are outdated and unreliable, to the point where I'm surprised when anything goes smoothly. If you value uptime and reliability, my advice is to look elsewhere.

Worst Customer service – Please do not buy their any website products. Very unreliable and useless. Customer service is very low leave and they have no idea how to fix issues. Business loose money because of TPP's faults.

Domain registration service run by a bunch of [Content Removed] – I am an IT consultant, and have been assisting a new client whose website and email for her online jewellery store were down. Domain (withheld), registered through TPP Wholesale. It turns out her old IT provider had died, and all her domain, DNS and hosting services had been set up in his name. disconnected, presumably due to lapsed payment, she had no idea what to do. That provider [Name Removed] was a TPP Wholesale reseller, and had registered her domain name with you, but in his own name.

As it turns out, I’m also a TPP Wholesale reseller. I contacted TPP Support on or around the 22nd of July, ticket number 102458. I needed to push through the registration of the .com.au version as a temporary domain, and find a way to recover control of the original .com domain. Your consultant was most unhelpful, displayed a real “don’t give a care” attitude, and told me he would have to email the dead provider, then wait 5 days for a reply before he could do anything. (I presume by now you are well aware that [Name Removed] is dead, as you would have had many other domain owners contacting you with similar inquiries in recent months.) Your support officer’s tone and attitude were absolutely hopeless, he clearly did not give a care that someone’s entire business had ground to a halt.

What was far worse was that, when I called back a week later to see what progress had been made, there was apparently no record of any of this on the ticket, the email to Dead [Name Removed] had not gone out at all, and we would have to start the whole process over again. (Ticket 120614.). This was now with [Name Removed]. There was no semblance of common sense in any of this, to investigate Dead [Name Removed] reseller account, which would have been the logical thing to do. TPP continued to faff around while my client’s business had ground to a halt.

I asked [Name Removed] several times to escalate this case to a complaints officer, as I wished to file a complaint. She did not do so despite my repeated requests. I can only assume you have no complaints officers or process, maybe that’s something you can’t outsource [Content Removed].

I have only now (yesterday) regained control of my client’s domain, her jewellery store was offline for three weeks, costing her a HUGE amount of money.

I am also a TPP reseller, and this sort of pathetic support experience seems to be absolutely par for the course from you. Every single support case with you is a complete and utter nightmare.

It is also beyond belief that you would have allowed a reseller to register all his customers’ domains in his own name, without this clear problem being picked up in an audit or check of some sort. I can only presume you have no policies to prevent this kind of obvious and predictable problem. You clearly also have zero training for resellers on what to do and not do - I certainly received no instruction at all when I signed up with TPP, and obviously neither did [Name Removed], otherwise he wouldn’t have made such a bloody mess. I have never once heard from my account manager, [Content Removed].

Needless to say, I am currently looking for a new domain reseller for my business, so I can have some confidence in my clients’ domains being properly taken care of.
