I contacted TranslateSwift for a translation and received an initial quote of approximately $600 AUD. The amount actually charged to my bank account was nearly $1000 AUD, which I confirmed immediately and disputed. I cancelled the order promptly via the chat agent on their website. TranslateSwift then claimed that work had already started, which… Read more

was impossible given how quickly I cancelled after seeing the overcharge. Despite multiple cancellation requests, I received no proper confirmation and was later sent another invoice for over $1000 USD, even though I had clearly cancelled the order.

I have now cancelled my bank card to prevent any further unauthorised charges and reported the transaction to my bank, who are pursuing recovery. Based on my experience, the pricing was misleading, the charges were significantly higher than the quote, and my cancellation was not respected.

I am seeking a full refund to my original payment method and written confirmation that my order has been cancelled. would strongly warn others to avoid this service, especially Australian customers who expect transparent AUD pricing and honouring of cancellations.

Absolute scammers ! They advertise best prefix’s guaranteed and dine print in the footer on the website states in USD most expensive hence why in Australia, requested refund immediately and they refused saying the started transaction already- at one pager and only two words needs to be translated- no apply- nothing. Disappointed because I will… Read more

need to order somewhere else and they will refund 50% which I highly doubt. They are rude and don’t care about customers experience and based in Dubai.

This is the most expensive translation service that I have ever used. They charge in USD, which was not obvious to me. For a very short NAATI-accredited translation of a German birth certificate into English, I almost paid 100 AUD.

Order MALENG28459 > I paid TranslateSwift LLC a total of $154.44 USD for their advertised 24‑hour express translation service for a 2‑page document. After 4 days and multiple emails, I still received nothing. They later claimed they requested more documents — but no such request was ever made to me. I requested a refund before any work had… Read more

begun, yet they refused and kept the payment, claiming they had already started.

Because of their delay and refusal to refund, I had to hire and pay another local translator, which cost me an additional 200 AUD (≈134 USD).

In total, I’ve spent almost 288 USD for a simple 2‑page document due to their failure to deliver and refusal to refund.

To make things worse, they appear to operate under multiple business names, which makes it harder for customers to find honest reviews and hold them accountable.

In my experience, this company does not honor their advertised turnaround times and refuses refunds even when no service is delivered.

Be very cautious before paying them — this is not good business practice.

I ordered 2 documents for translation and they accepted my orders and charged me for both. Shortly after they came back to me and advised they could not translate from one language to another and might go through intermediate English translation (2 steps translation) and wanted to double charge me for that document. Though both languages are on… Read more

their supported list! I cancelled the second order and asked for a full refund. I received confirmation email but refund never came back to my account and after 3 weeks of waiting, I sent them another email, asking again for my refund progress. They ignored me and never bothered to respond on my emails. I initiated a dispute case with my bank requesting refund. After that this company started to harass me sending emails demanding I would cancel my refund and close the case. This is a fraud company. My advice, stay away if your documents need translation from languages other than English. Since, this is not an Australian company, I cannot initiate a proper case against them with local authorities, but want to warn other people to stay away and go for other trusted online translators.
