Traxxas Slash 1/10 2WD

Great build – We have three of these 2wd SCT's. My 4yo and 11yo sons both have one to get into racing, a really great solid truck to learn with and for bashing. I geared one right down for my 4yo and he is now racing great. As stated in other reviews the let down for racing is the high CoG but this can be a good thing for bashing and driving in long grass. The 3rd truck has a Proline LCG chassis, this is what you need for racing and will keep you up with the Losi's and the like, but takes some cash to get you there. All up very happy with the Slash, great parts availability in many brands such as RPM. Will be upgrading both my sons chassis. Solid SCT Not a racer, but can be fixed with some mods

Great for 1st time r/c truck – My 11 year old wanted to get into r/c racing,So we bought him a 1/10 2wd traxxas slash. This truck is strong.Great for a new to r/c person. Set up is easy,very rugged,fairly cheap way to get into r/c"s. I would get the Losi xxx-sct truck if you plan on racing or running with your buddys.It's a bit more upper scale. Over all the slash is a very good truck.Best suited for Bashing. Built strong,Every Hobby shop has almost all parts on hand. High center of gravity.If I had to say something bad about it.
