Triumph Rechargeable Lint Remover Questions & Answers
VerifiedCan I buy a replacement blade for my Triumph Lint Remover, Code: NT1003?
How can I tell if lint remover is fully charged
As I understand it, the only way to know if it's fully charged, is to charge for full recommended time of 8 hours.
Why does it not charge.
A year ago I purchased one from Woolworths, and from first use, it wouldn't charge. I returned it for an exchange, and the replacement is still working fine. I consider it is most likely a manufacturing fault.
Hi I have lost my lint cord I can use triumph lint remover
I have lost the charger cable, how can I get a replacement??
Contact the manufacturer, or just buy a new device
I also have lost mine. I am looking to purchase a replacement lead but an actually unsure what it is called. I'm not silly and I know what it looks like but I cannot find any in any search on any site. Any clues or name of type of cable would be useful. Thank you. I was hoping not to have to purchase a new one
Why is my lint remover not working now after charging it?
Was the charging light on during charging? Was the power point turned on? Is the device clean, no lint clogging it up?
Hi all, picked it from Woolies and loved it. After few uses, it stopped working. I assumed it's out battery so I left it for charge for about 8 hours... But no joy! Not working now..
Anyone facing similar issues or have any ideas?
Did you switch on the power point? Maybe there's a loose wire. Did you make sure the female plug was inserted correctly?
Thanks for responding. Yes it's connected and the green light for charging is switched on
I bought a lint remover from woolies after charging it will not work.any ideas....
I have exactly the same problem. Also hoping for a solution :-(
Just bought the lint remover. Instructions said to charge it so i plugged it in. The light indicator lit up green. When it is done charging in 8 hours, will the light indicator turn off automatically or change to a different color? How do I know when its fully charged other than having to set my timer for 8 hours? Thanks.
Hi Myna, there are safety features built in. Don't worry if you forget to stop charging after 8 hours. I've left mine on overnight while I'm asleep and it's been fine. The charge indicator light stays green, no colour changes, and doesn't turn off. Also, the clear cover is quite tight when new. I struggled to remove it at first. Warm it up slightly by placing it in the sun or close to a halogen lamp.
Im bummed that the light indicator color doesnt change cuz thats very standard for electronics to have a color change. Anyhow, Thx so much for your quick and informative response! Cheers!
I have misplaced the charger for my lint remover, where would I get a replacement one.
Hi Diana, The easiest and cheapest way would be to buy another rechargeable lint remover. It would probably be a lot more expensive to buy a replacement charger, that's assuming that they're even available. They may not be available.
I went to Coles, BigW, Target, Kmart not one to be found as it seems they have all gone to useless sticky rollers. Thank you for your reply but that was the first thing I tried.
Cannot remove lint cover
It does come off, just squeeze ridges on either side whilst also applying pressure backwards. Mine was also very difficult to remove, but persevere. It won't break. It's designed to be a tight fit, once you remove it a few times it gets much easier.
Thankyou, eventually managed it, not easy though ........
Mine is the same. Have resorted to screwing off the blade cover, lifting out the blade then scooping out the lint with a kitchen knife.
Does the light go off when the lint remover is fully charged or do you just allow 8 hours of charging and disconnect.
I left it charging overnight. I think the light stays on, but it knows when it's fully charged. It won't keep charging. It's a safety feature.
I can’t get cover off to remove lint. Any help?
It is quite stiff, I've had trouble myself. Just squeeze the raised ridges on each side and at the same time apply pressure towards the cord end. It's designed not to fall off easily. Hope this helps.
Cord how does it look for the triumph lint remover?
Normal Australian appliance cord, black, about a metre in length, with two round female connectors on the appliance end like the infinity symbol.
Hi All, we also had charge issues from USB 2 ports--lights worked to show it was charging but did not. Connected unit to my laptop USB 3 port and it charges correctly---seems to need the 2 amps charge rate from a USB 3 port. A USB 2 port is usually 0.5 amps. Your experience may vary. Cheers, Eddie B.
