Very disappointing. Does not work – I recently bought a Trojan Adjustable Hole Punch from Bunnings. It claimed to be suitable for adding holes to leather. I wanted it to add a hole to some of my average thickness all-leather belts. I am an average strength male and spent considerable time trying very hard to make such a hole in a belt. I turned the belt over and tried to attack from the rear but to no avail. I tried different sizes from the one [4mm] I wanted but could not make anything other than a slight indentation. I returned it to Bunnings the next day and the fit looking young man, who was about 193cm tall with large hands, could not make a hole in the cardboard of a nearby container nor in his own leather belt. He was very pleasant and helpful and had no hesitation in accepting my return. I was very happy with Bunnings, as I have been on many occasions before. It did only cost $14.98 but it should carry out the function for which it was intended.

My sincere thanks for your message. However, I have ordered online an individual 4mm hollow hole punch which is to be used with a hammer. I did spend some time trying to get your hole punch to work. The leather I tried it on was 3.3mm thick and I tried the plastic of an ice cream container and some thin wood underneath the leather as well as with nothing underneath. Thanks again for your message. Kind regards, Rob.
