sourced elsewhere.
Now, August 2018, a third of the Trojan batteries has failed. We contacted the Master Distributor, Enirgi Power Storage, and they, too, have refused to replace the faulty batteries
As 3 of the 6 batteries we purchased new have failed in little more than two years the performance of these batteries is clearly not acceptable (the remaining batteries in the set when load tested are only "marginal").
The previous set of batteries lasted 9 years with none of the set needing replacement in that period. Those batteries were not Trojan brand.
While, strictly speaking, two of the three failed batteries have lasted beyond the offered one-year warranty period, it is clear that consumers should have a reasonable expectation the batteries should last longer than one-year and that several years' use should be expected.
