I've had 2 reviews removed. One was positive and I showed them PROOF. I had a company disagree with me although I'm correct on my negative one it got removed. My positive review for a company. Wanted proof I've dealt with them. So I showed them email and inbox. Trustpilot is not TRUSTWORTHY. A big company can get a review taken down. If you give a positive to a place that they don't like. It gets taken down.
Purchase two red light therapy wraps for horses from Chevaroo the beginning of may 26, when Items didn't arrive they continually replied to my emails with generic responses items are under review. $250 gone and nothing from Chevaroo....Buyer beware....
Used to be the gold standard. Now? Fool's gold. Trustpilot was once genuinely useful — a place where real customers shared real experiences, and businesses were held accountable. I relied on it. That era is over. The platform is now flooded with AI-generated reviews — suspiciously polished, oddly enthusiastic, and utterly fake. Businesses game the… Read more
system at scale, and Trustpilot's detection tools simply can't keep up. When every dodgy operator can manufacture a 4.8-star reputation overnight, the ratings mean nothing. The cruel irony is that a review platform is now the thing that needs reviewing — and failing. When you can't trust the reviews on a site built entirely around trust, the whole premise collapses. Sad, because the idea was a good one. But good intentions don't survive bad incentives. Use Reddit, ask friends, or dig into forums instead. Trustpilot in 2026 is a graveyard of credibility dressed up in star ratings.

ozdesign furniture – On 6th March 2023 we purchased (cost $2629) 6 x dining room chairs and 4 x bar stools of which 6 were defective, 3 were defective beyond repair on delivery to our property on 16th March 2023. we sought to have the courier wait while we inspected the chairs and they refused, and they advised if there was an issue for us to contact OZDESIGN. we… Read more
immediately rang Oz design and sought a full refund as we had no confidence in the quality of the chairs upon removal from boxes and our inspection. We sent email to OZDESIGN customer care on 17th March with all the pictures they required for review. After numerous phone calls and emails, they offered a partial refund /store credit on the chairs in email dated 22nd March totaling $360 of which we rejected. We engaged Fair Trading and they advised us to return the goods to supplier which occurred on the 22nd of May at 6:36pm.Fair Trading advised us by email 27th may that all attempts to engage OZDESIGN had been unsuccessful and to seek further assistance elsewhere namely NCAT.we sought to have chairs returned several times hence the lag in timeline between delivery and final pickup on their part after multiple excuses once again on their part. (Email evidence is available x 59 in total).OZDESIGN Customer Care indicated in several emails that a full refund would occur once the chairs were returned to their Sydney warehouse which should have occurred the next day i.e., 23rd May we would suggest only to be told on 7th June some 16 days later when inquiring once again where the refund was up to and was told in email that the courier had not taken the chairs to warehouse, and they could not issue a refund till chairs had been delivered which we were now told would be taken to warehouse by 9th June COB. Despite being advised that the issue would be resolved by COB on 2nd June. It‘s been excuse after excuse for 3 months and been dealt with by 5 different Indvidual ‘s over that period with no progress on the full refund and in my final email yesterday i advised OZDESIGN that we would seek NCAT support. We are not understanding as to why this company has lied and been deceitful constantly in our dealings and we have also made it quite clear that this issue has had an impact on our health. We had contacted the store directly yesterday where we purchased chairs in a final attempt to recover monies and the manager at Kotara store was very surprised and sympathetic to our issue and she was also investigating as to why there was a delay in chairs being delivered to warehouse and subsequent full refund.Kotara manager was unable unfortunately to give us a full refund as the sales transaction was a bank direct debit transfer and not an Eftpos sale and would have to be managed by accounts section of OZDESIGN in Sydney. UPSHOT: 82 emails, numerous phone calls and 4 months later issue was resolved with a full refund back into our account on 23rd June 2023 one week prior to NCAT tribunal hearing set down for 4th July 2023. be very wary of this business as they quote the terms and conditions on the sales docket as being legally binding but we had not signed it so it was void and they knew that right from the outset!! DO not sign for goods on delivery until you have inspected the items for defect's / damage and reject the delivery outright. THEY will hang onto your money till the last minute so as to gain maximum interest on your money.!! NEVER AGAIN WILL WE DEAL WITH OZDESIGN FURNITURE. (Cheap imported rubbish despite being queried at point of sale as to the origin of the furniture and its quality prior to purchase!! quality furniture on display contrary to delivered final product!!! Opacity, which supposedly sell incredibly gorgeous clothing is definitely a scam site. I ordered some items about 3 months ago, which never arrived. The tracking app suggested that my order has arrived but upon checking with my post office it emerged that the tracking number was an actual scam too. I've attempted to retrieve my money but am still waiting for a response. Biggest lesson learnt "if it sounds too good to be true, it very like is."
Trustpilot claims to support genuine reviews but it's clear after research online they cater to business that pay fees so the reviews can be manipulated. my review deleted because I don't have an order number...
The item was a gift! But is faulty and the manufacturer has refused to fix it despite diagnosing and confirming there is an issue with the product.
I always thought trustpilot were a reliable source but obviously that's not the case and I didn't realize businesses pay a subscription so that way they can remove negative reviews.
Edit: and they deleted it, so businesses can literally just pay for a subscription and trustpilot will delete negative reviews for them. What a scam.
This is my personal experience with Trustpilot as a business user. Over time, I have noticed that many genuine customer reviews fail to appear online or are frequently taken offline without clear explanations. This has created the impression that maintaining consistent and visible reviews is extremely difficult unless a business pays for one of… Read more

While I understand that platforms need revenue and moderation processes, the way these events occurred made me feel pressured toward upgrading to a paid package in order to keep legitimate reviews visible. This experience has left me disappointed and questioning the fairness and transparency of the system.
I hope Trustpilot will address these concerns and provide clearer, more reliable processes for handling authentic customer feedback, regardless of whether a business is paying or not like Google maps.

Do not allow honest reviews – They support scam companies and take down your honest review. Keep asking for more details when I have already supplied them both to Trustpilot and the company in question.
Follow-up · They still ask for proof and even when it’s sent they take your review down. Very disappoint as many go by this site to be able to trust buying online. I won’t be buying online if any well known company with a good reputation or better yet I’ll go in store, it’s not worth being ripped off.
I have just received a TECHXCELENCE iphone 17, promax cover today 5/11/25, but ordered on 28/09/25. Terrible service and during this wait I was also sent the wrong cover, a cheaper inferior one. My cover cost me AUS $150 plus the cost of sending… Read more
the wrong cover back to them (AUS $23.00) I have regularly emailed the support team, always answered by AI and not always answering my questions. I was told that their policy was to refund postal costs if they sent the wrong item. So far no luck. The cover, supposed to be luxury real leather is just a cover!! I cannot recommend their service, their product, or their AI communication. Very disappointed.
Follow-up · Just keeping you updated on my experience with TechXcelence and my phone cover order. The correct phone cover did arrive. I posted the wrong cover back at my own expense and TechXcelence said they would refund the postage to return the wrong phone cover. This is actually part of their policy. Australia Post has also confirmed the return. However… Read more
I went to cosmetique Mandurah for Botox and some filler in my lips for the very first time. Botox in my forehead, crows feet and frown area. Also down near the side of my mouth 4ml. Filler in my lips for the first time. I've never been to a… Read more
company that if their product doesn't work, they require you to right an email to their compliance team to basically explain why their product didn't work on you??? On returning for my 2 week follow up it was noted that I required a top up on my Botox. However they won't fix the small areas such as the area near my mouth. They only fix the larger area, forehead, frown, crows feet. Even though you've paid for it? Mind you these is not divulged before you hand over your money.
Now let's talk about the lips. On my 2 week follow up it was noted by myself and the technician that after the initial swelling had gone down, one side of my lip looked like the filler hadn't taken as well as the other side. Instead of just fixing it, I was told I needed to write to the compliance team with a picture of my concern. Which is very noticeable. Which I have had to walk around with all weekend and finally today I received an answer. Well they're not going to sort out the issue, instead they've wrote this:
We have reviewed your file and can confirm that you received a lower dosage of filler during your recent treatment. Please note that the overall result and how the filler settles also depend on your original lip shape and natural anatomy.
They then suggest the following:
If you would like a more balanced or fuller appearance, we recommend getting a higher dosage at your next session. This will help achieve a more even and enhanced result.
I don't want a fuller lip and end up looking like a duck as I explained in my return email, I just want my lip fixed.
They then had the audacity to ask me this:
Please let us know if you would like us to arrange an appointment for you.
As if I'd spend more money going to a place that doesn't fix their issues in the first place and end up with easy to much filler in my lips that would absolutely spoil the natural shape of my lips.
This company I'd give a huge wide birth , I now have to find a place that'll fix my lip disregarding the fact I paid $778.00, for this treatment and that this company refuse to fix the issue. considering I paid $199.00 just for half a ml for my lips.
Oh and be warned they don't put a numbing gel on your lips before they give you the local, which was very painful . As I stated this is the first time I've had to put filler into my lips due to having a double lung transplant and loosing a bit of volume in my lips due to the transplant.
I find this totally unacceptable and I've never been to a company that blames the clients anatomy and suggest you put more of a different product into your lips, instead of just fixing the problem.
Initial consultation and injections on the 3/10/2025 follow up appointment 2 weeks later on the 17/10/2025.
Follow-up · I've lodged a complaint with consumers affairs, due to no satisfaction from Cosmetique Mandurah. The botox has already failed in all areas, initial injections 3rd October 2025, review 17th October 2025 were more botox was required. Now all areas have failed. Trust pilot is just a s trustworthy as Product review – I've been using both Trustpilot and Product review and they both have their flaws, the major one I've found with Product Review is that whilst they claim not to allow employers to take down negative reviews. I've had multiple reviews be stuck as "Pending" for years on end with Product Review. I'm dubious about both sites, I hope that this is a bug.

My decision to go ahead was based on Trust -Pilot reviews – On the strength of Iron-Bits reviews posted on Trust Pilot, I invested 2k in Iron-Bits, a company that turned out to be as fake as the reviews they posted on Trust pilot. In reality I would have been better off if Trustpilot didn't exist. Even now with Honest reviews mixing with Iron-Bits Fake reviews it must be confusing for some. Cheers Graham
Are these other reviews written by other review sites?! – Trustpilot does allow both legitimate negative and positive reviews, so I am absolutely surprised by the reviews written here. They are well balanced, and I have read countless poor and good reviews on Trustpilot with a good degree of accuracy (both good and bad) about the companies. Really surprised to see these older reviews below.

Unfortunately it seems Trustpilot has changed it's advanced automated detection technology to review our reviews. I had written a review about a seed company but it turns out Trustpilot DID NOT allow reviews for the company I intended to review so they REDIRECTED me to the wrong company. junk. They don't work, the seatbelt buckle does not even clip into them. They are a scam. After many emails to them asking for my money back, they have now resorted to asking me for a video of how my product doesn't work. After you complain enough and they realise you are not going away, they simply stop replying, happily keeping your money while you are left with junk. My advice is to never buy anything from these people and from now on, I will google everything before I buy. It's a shame Facebook and others accept their advertising.

additional documentation and sent two follow-up emails—all ignored. I then wrote a second review with different wording. TrustPilot also refused to publish this one. The pattern suggests TrustPilot may be selectively censoring negative reviews of Refundable.me. Their complete lack of communication and transparency raises serious questions about the integrity of their platform. I'm now posting my experience here since TrustPilot appears unwilling to allow honest customer feedback about this company.
They literally protect scammers. I have seen a review page on their site for an actual ponzi scheme that was consistently rated over 4 out of 5. chose the colorful and shiny easy route. It does not prioritize honest reviewing. It's not a far stretch to assume that they're flooded with obviously fake reviews. Enough for companies to screenshot those fake reviews and paste them onto their morally grey business model's homepages, in order to trick clients (who are on the conveniently paved and easy to traverse marketed pathways) into thinking they're not being marketed to.
It's big corporate handshake and nothing less.
