Tupperchef Baking Forms

Not covered by Tupperware lifetime guarantee – I've had some of these for a few years and one just broke so I tried to claim a replacement via the Tupperware website. The claim was rejected. They were fine as long as I used them, but like other people have said, they are unstable. They also stain. I wouldn't buy them again.
Great – Easy to clean. Much better than the store bought ones as they don't clean up in the dishwasher. Leaves and oily residue. They are pricey but worth it for me as I use them alot.
Makes the perfect bread and some cake bases for my really crappy oven – It is a really wonderful little tool from tupperware, My girlfriend had told me about it, so I decided to try one. I have since used it weekly, making damper, bread, carrot cake. It washes really well too. Oh yes, and the bread pops out with a lot of ease! One thing I recommend if you are baking, is to put a bit of flour on the bottom,… Read more · 1
prevents the delicate ingredients from burning. Easy to wash, beautiful shaped bread and cake loaf Pricey
Bad – There are better things you can do with your money and better things in the tupperware range you can buy. Tupperware is at its best with food storage containers. If you are starting out, go for that instead. buy normal, good quality metal containers for cooking and they won't melt at any temp, they will stay stable and won;t wobble and they will… Read more
do the job perfectly well. They aren't as squashable for storage, but that is not a major thing. they are easily stored expensive and they aren't stable, be careful you don't lose all the mixture. My main beef though is some items are impractible. For instance, the muffin tray makes 7. You show me, anywhere, any commercial mixture that makes 7. They all make 12. I have gone back to using my metal muffin pan for 12, it is ideal every time, Just a spray with cooking spray and non stick, too.
Good – Great to use, cakes etc turn out lovely - but have to remember to put on a baking when lifting into the over as they become very unstable when full of mixture. I have used mine for ice cream cakes and jellys etc and they are wonderful! huge variety of shapes and sizes, really easy to use - over or fridge or freezer! expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for and that's the lifetime warranty
OK – The idea of these is great. In practise it doesn't always work as well. They are unstable when putting into the oven and really need to go on another tray. You cannot use non stick spray. Very expensive for the item that they are - they may be worth it if tehy are getting very heavy use. They do store well and have some very interesting shapes.… Read more
Very squashable - fits into your cupboard easily Very expensive for what they are - there are good quality non tupperware versions on the market for much less than the cost of these. You cannot use cooking spray on them and some things still stick
Terrible – I bought the brownie tray form and muffin form. The brownie tray is useless, it gets floppy and lets the mixture ooze out the middle - so I have to cook with it sitting in a conventional metal brownie tray - negating the benefit of using the silicone form! I hate that if you or your well meaning family put them in the dishwasher they take on the… Read more
taste of dishwashing powder and impart that on everything you cook from then on. A fad I am sure will pass, I just wish I hadn't wasted so much money on them. They squash into the bin easily enough. Expensive, do not hold their shape, cannot be washed in dishwasher or they will give a vile flavour of detergent to the next things you cook.
Good – these are a great idea but there are cheaper versions that work just as well. i have a number of different shapes and would recommend avoiding shapes with too many groves as these can be difficult to clean. If your recipe includes a fair amount of butter or oil then dont bother oiling the pan before using it as it wont stick. I personally dont… Read more
regret buying the loaf shaped pan and the pastry mat as I use them both fairly often. The loaf shaped pan is especially good for making a small cake. although as with lots of loaf pans it can be difficult to find a plate the right size to place the cake on once cooked! stores in tight spaces. cleans easily (even in dishwasher) expensive (there are cheaper brands on the market just as good). you need to place a tray underneath as the bottom sags when full of uncooked cake mixture
Bad – Overall got sucked into buying something and thought that this was a good thing.. Would have been better spending my money on something else and using the old fashioned cake tins.. even if l go through 5 of them in a life time it still works out cheaper and i can cook anything in them. It is easy to find a spot in the cuboard for this as you can… Read more
squash it in anywhere. The colour is great and definately brightens up any kitchen After i bought it l was told not to cook chocoate cake in it as it sticks and if l wanted to to spray it with cooking spray which the instructions say not too...
Very expensive for the amount of times l have used it although l may start making icecream or parfait and use it for that instead not sure
Bad – I wasn't very impressed with the Tupperware Baking Forms I purchased. I get a much better result using old fashioned metal tins. I think they are over-rated. Easy to store. Very expensive, burns at a high heat setting (Tupperware won't replace them if you go past the recommended heat setting. You can't put patty pans in the muffin forms.
Good – This product is great once you get past the weirdness of using somthing flimsy to cook in. your food will not burn in this and it will be evenly cooked easy to store, will not break and food will not burn in it seen weird to cook
Excellent – These forms are expensive and much better than the others on the market. Once you have one, you will love them! Although the instructions say to use oil, DON'T. It is better if you just wash them out with really hot sopay water before use. Amazing product that is easy to use, works every time and a must have for every kitchen
Good – great invention, but disappointing when you see a similar product out there at a third of the price. fits easily into any drawer in the kitchen and doesn't take up space. Doesn't get baked on food that you have to scrub off. cakes and fritatas slide out easily, no more running a knife around the edge of the tin. too expensive - other shops are… Read more
now bringing out similar products at a fraction of the price. cakes can have a tendency to overcook too fast
Good – A pretty impressive item. I still feel really nervous when I put it in the oven, and find it hard to resist the urge to check on it every 5 minutes, to make sure it hasn't melted everywhere. I'm glad I bought it (I got the kugelhopf), but don't know that I'll be rushing out to buy another item in that range. The only reason I'm not giving it… Read more
and overall rating of 5 is because of the price. Really easy to clean. Easy to store, you can scrunch them up and squash them between all you other stuff and they will never lose their shape. No need to grease and flour, or spray them (yay) which means no oily/floury residue on your food. No more cakes sticking to the pan, and no more running the knife around the edge to dislodge. Sooo expensive. It took my attendance at several tupperware parties before I finally succumbed to the sales pitch. There are much cheaper options on the market at the moment, but Tupperware comes with a lifetime guarantee, which no other brand offers.
Good – Id certainly give it a whirl. Its flexible. Dishwasher friendly Not convinced about its durability
Good – This range freaked me out when I saw my sister using them. I couldn't believe you could put them in a hot oven! Well you can and you can take them from freezer to oven to microwave. Freaky but fantastic. These are great for baking, etc. They take up hardly any space so great for ppl with little cupboard space. Pricey
