Flaw in design – I've bought 2 of these dust interceptor and both has snapped on me where they connect with interceptor because it's made of cheap plastic it keeps breaking at base of tube, anyone experienced this yet?

Make your vacuum bag last a year! – I bought a dust interceptor when I bought my Miele S8330 four years ago, on the recommendation of the retailer. It's been brilliant, and saved its cost within a year as Miele bags are ludicrously expensive, and bad for the environment. I empty the interceptor onto the compost heap. You do lose a little suction, so I adjust the setting on the vacuum up one notch. Every vacuum should come with an interceptor as standard.

Save on Vacuum Bags! – I purchased the Logik Turbo Dust Interceptor online because the cost of Miele replacement bags is totally farcical !! My sister had purchased one for her ducted vacuum and was impressed by it. I read reviews and got the XL version as it seems that was the recommended one for Miele’s. It comes with two sizes of nozzle attachment to fit different… Read more

sized wands. I used one and it’s a decent fit . Using the vacuum with it seems a little unwieldy at first but you get used to it and it doesn’t appear to affect the suction. I had put in a new bag prior to using it for the first time so that I could effectively see the results . All of the dust/debris was collected in the receptacle and it appears none went into the bag - impressive ! It twists off easily for emptying and cleaning . Works well , does what it’s supposed to do so well worth a recommendation AND it’s going to save heaps on bag costs

Got a vacuum? You need this! – I recently purchased the Logik XL model from eBay and i cannot believe I have gone so many years without one. I have a Miele S5211 and it fits quite well. I have noticed that over time (maybe 5 or 6 uses) it needs to be adjusted again so its straight (My OCD gets the better of me) but other then that i love this product. With the way its going;… Read more

its going to save me 10x its value in Miele vacuum bags before the end of the year.

There is a little bit of suction loss, which is why i bought the XL model and not the smaller version.

I am going to keep one as spare just in case they stop selling it.

I think something like this should be standard on all vacuums sold. bagless or not.

Its so simple and easy to use. It costs the same as a box of Miele bags and pays itself off within months.

Mum has already put in her order for hers and im sure she will convince all her friends to buy it as well.

Great Product, easy to install and use – Have used this product for about 4 years now, and have only had to change the bag in our Miele once all this time. We use it at least once a day on tiles, timber floors and carpet/rugs. Easy to install and virtually zero maintenance. I also have had my share of bag-less vacuum cleaners, and I have to say the Turbo Dust Interceptor is the… Read more

easiest to empty and clean. In bag-less vacuums there is always some nook or recess where dust collects and sticks to the corner (including our Dyson hand held), but not with the dust interceptor. all the dirt literally pours out of the collection chamber when emptying.

I never new it existed but it is a must for anyone using vacuum cleaners – Hi, I have had quite a few vacuum cleaners over the past years, from bagless to ones with a bag, bagless were unpractical in all aspects, as my main issue was that they work perfectly once they are new, but as soon as filtering system gets dirty, bulky compartment for collecting dirt gets dirty, it becomes just a mess, particularly when you… Read more

have to empty all that dirt and fine dust from it into the bin, and it starts flying back on you and ...yak.. So I switched to Miele vacuum with a bags to replace almost every 3 months. And it works perfectly, you just take out the full bag and replace with clean one, no dust around you...but then buying new bags i ran into this! My goodness, it saves my bag , i can now go a year , or more without replacing one, the system saves me money on filters, bags, it's easy and mess free to empty (as the slim design makes it easy to empty), it is adaptable to most vacuum cleaners, just it looked too good to be true - and it is! No maintenance at all, and one thing more.. it became handy when my kids have lego all over the floor, I just wash the "collecting tube" dry it, and then vacuum the pieces :)
