Turtle Beach Stealth 520

Team turtle beach – I have always loved turtle beach products! I love gaming and play every day. I’ve always needed a good quality headset to enhance my gaming and turtle beach definitely does that! They no longer sell the P16 which I love and still regularly use! But I’ve recently bought the stealth 520 and have had no problems with them! Very happy!
Good Mid Range PS4 Wireless Headset – Okay, so I wen't from a PX5 turtle beach headset which is the equivalent of the pro series, $500 odd dollars so my perspective is unique. Compared to a Pro Series this headset does not match up. However when taking into account the price, On sale you can get them for about $160.00 which is fantastic value for the performance it does have. Unlike the Pro/Elite series, you can not program your own settings, however the presets it does have does do a sufficient job, surround sound works perfectly and the superhuman hearing works okay, not as well as some of the pre-programmed settings you can get on an elite/pro headset but does the job, but i find with superhuman hearing off you can still here footsteps of people sneaking up on your position most of the time... not all the time, but leaving superhuman hearing on all the time can take away from your gaming experience as you do not hear the game how the developers mean't it to be heard. The Mic works flawlessly and is detachable so it does not get in the way when you are not using it, Battery time is great, if you put it on charge after each use i doubt it will ever go flat during use unless your playing 10+ Hrs straight. So for the price tag, i would recommend this headset and it will do me fine for the next few years as this time around i didn't have the spare cash laying around for an elite or pro series gaming head set.
The main thing i found negative about this headset that the developers did not put much thought into is where the volume wheel is on the headset (After all this is a gaming console headset). The wheel for the volume is at the back of the right hand side ear piece, and what i find is when i lean back into my recliner during game play the volume wheel will move up and down when my head touches the back of my couch adjusting my game volume, which is very frustrating and in the next reiteration of their head set i hope they move the volume control into a more sensible position.
Hope this review helps :)
