Dodgy company, they do not deserve even one star. Ordered 9 umbrellas for work, only received 6. One is already broken. Tried calling, they never answered. Emailed several times, received one reply saying they were looking into it. Do not order from this company!!!

Concerned – The customer support emails are AI-written and never address the problem. I was about to return the umbrella but phoned them to speak to someone and got a message to leave a message, but the voicemail box was full. I am reluctant to return the umbrella as I feel I will not get my refund.
Worst company – Stay away from this company!!! Horrible customer service. I've been waiting for over 6 weeks to hear back about the wrong umbrella I was sent. I posted it back so now out of pocket for postage and the umbrella (which isn't cheap). Keep getting told "I've passed the information on to my manager" and never hear anything. Save yourself the time and money and shop somewhere else!!
Poor product and worse customer service – I bought a "Hurricane" compact umbrella from Umbrellas Direct recently. This is advertised as a strong, wind resistant umbrella. contacted Umbrellas Direct and was told the warranty is 14 days. After I replied that according to Fair Trade a product is supposed to be fit for purpose, I was told, more or less, that it wasn't their problem. They couldn't have cared less.
Don't bother.
Terrible quality product, don't waste your money – Bought a large golf umbrella from them. It broke the second time I used it, not in high winds. Request for a refund due to faulty product denied as it was beyond the 14 day warranty. Followed up repeatedly but was ignored.
Do not use – Cancelled my order on their website IMMEDIATELY after buying it and then finding these reviews. They ignored the cancellation and sent it anyway, claiming they never received it. Shopping is going to take 3 weeks. I recieve items from china quicker than this.
Horrible scammy customer service – If I could give zero stars I would. address. Two months later, nothing. I tried following up but they just keep dragging it and say they will look into it or they are escalating it. Then they ghosted me. I posted a negative comment on their Facebook on one of the comments. Then some time later they blocked me entirely, I can’t even access their Facebook page via my Facebook account! How horrible and pathetic is this, please stay away from this company!
Be Careful – Buyer beware, purchased a heavy duty umbrella, broke on the second use, contacted them but unfortunately they are not interested in sorting it out. Continuously have to follow up with them and still waiting for a response and apparently only a 14 day warranty!

It had 2 years warranty. They would exchange but I had to pay postage! It took 2 months of haggling to get that response. Not impressed.
Easier to buy another umbrella!!!
The other one with the plastic trim is great.
Umbrellas Direct 14 day warranty – My “Heavy Duty” umbrella lasted 1 month. When I contacted Umbrellas Direct showing them the broken, thin piece of wire that holds the umbrella in place the only response I received was “ Sorry we have only a 14 day warranty”. Be aware of this company.
Order not fulfilled – I ordered two umbrellas. I received only one umbrella. Contacted customer service and there was no action taken and they stopped responding to my emails.

Broke after being used less than a dozen occasions – I purchased the PEROS Rainbrella PRO@ Sports umbrella in July 2023. I had trouble putting it up this morning and realised an arm support had broken off from the plastic lug it was supposed to be joined to. It was hanging there dangerously as a potential eye hazard. Very disappointing as this umbrella has hardly been used.
Still awaiting refund for faulty product – Product was returned to the post office box 18 December 2023, which was confirmed by the Australia Post. UMBRELLAS DIRECT claim that they have not received the return and have not provided a refund (even though I have purchased a replacement product from them). refund. It’s a shame because I have placed several orders with them in the past and have been happy with them up until now. UPDATE: 4 Feb 24 - after posting several negative comments on their Facebook page, Umbrellas Direct have provided the refund. However, not sure that I will buy from them again in the future.
