the Adelaide depot spoke with Harry in the service department and he advised it sounded like the ECU unit was faulty. He advised I SHOULD put thru a warranty claim onlineline, my claim was delt with that same day ( thanks Jason Yang) the part arrived within 9 DAYS I fitted myself and now going again.

The lack of communication is at a new level, Brisbane office will not answer phone calls ever and takes them days to reply to emails if ever, will call back following a voice message but the response is "I do not do that and I will get them to call you" which never happen's or it someone else's problem. were delivered , don’t believe the Lies they tell you about how “ oh it will only be a couple of weeks “ 6 weeks later after hounding and hounding them , I had to travel 7 hours to pick up my log grab , costing fuel, vehicle, travel and vital production time” to pick up something I had already paid freight on ! it’s now early September and I’m still waiting on attachments ordered early June. Given every excuse under the sun , now they are trying to wriggle out of the responsibility and say well too bad here is a refund ( this is just an attempt to walk away from the responsibility), after i have invested so much time in this , my business has suffered tens of thousands of dollars in damages by not having the equipment I have bought and paid for ,due to these liars incompetence, when a simple and practical solution is available…. it. doesn’t suit them …. but it’s fine to see me lose enormous amounts of money …. immediately discovered multiple serious issues, including electrical, hydraulic, and engine problems.

The Bobcat has a 3-year warranty, which in reality seems to mean waiting years for repairs. The machine spent more time broken down and parked, either at their shop, yard, or job site,than actually working. This was a brand new machine, purchased to be used immediately, yet it has mostly been sitting waiting for repairs.

Under our contract obligations, we were forced to rent equipment to complete our jobs while waiting for this machine to be fixed. Meanwhile, monthly payments continued for a machine that did not work.

In August 2025, the machine was parked again. We did not hear back from UHI until the end of September, and they finally took the machine in October. It is now almost the end of December, and the machine is still not ready.

We are extremely dissatisfied with this experience and want to warn potential customers to be very careful when purchasing equipment from UHI. All we hear from UHI is blame placed on the manufacturer and constant claims that they are “waiting to hear back.”

This situation has caused significant financial loss and feels deeply unfair and misleading.

digging holes with the 200mm auger, and small earth works.

For $11k you're not buying a Komatsu. But it handles smaller jobs with ease. Just take your time and use the machine within its limits.

I did have a small Hydraulic leak on the auger motor after a few hours of use, but that was just a loose bolt. Easy fix.

I had a mate, who drives earth.iving equipment for a living (think D9 catepillars and Komatsu graders) have a crack with it and he was quite impressed by the little red beast. Saying it actually punches above its weight.

A couple of small cons. The thumb grab is a little on the weak side. It can be bent easily if your load is not centred or too much lateral pressure put on the tines. Planning on welding some gussets on to help with that. Also it would be great if they cam with quick release hoses for the auger motor. But that's only a small cost to do yourself.

After Sales Service: can't comment yet as I haven't had a reason to call yet. Will update as required.

called and spoke with Alex at UHI who was very helpful and knowledgeable and suggested that I invest in the 35hp, not their 25hp, which in hindsight was a very good idea. Being in Northern NSW, away from any of their depots, the tractor was delivered without any operational instructions. I found the English/Chinese manual of little assistance but Youtube was very helpful and once you get the hang of it, they are relatively simple to operate. A couple of calls to Harry at UHI answered a few of the non-obvious operational questions that I had. Besides the 4 in 1 bucket, I've assembled and used the grader and posthole digger. I've now used the tractor for around 30+ hours. Except for a simple small hydraulic power steering leak and a chassis bolt that came loose, I've experienced no problems. I'd have to say that the documentation is somewhat wanting, however I've now completed the 1st service by myself, again with Harry's assistance to help locate oil filler ports and oil quantities. For a tractor novice, Harry has been invaluable, always available and more than happy to help. Overall, I feel the tractor and the accessories are great value for money and the backup excellent.

Just purchased a new UHI 2.5 forklift from UHI Brisbane depot, everyone could not have been more helpful, Ray organized the sale and it arrived in 3 days. The quality of forklift is the same as more expensive machines at a much more affordable price. Had UME12 1.2 Toner. Had oil leak from the engine because the poor QA/QC team they have. Costumer service even worst. And try to make it my problem knowing this machine had less than 15 hours when I call. Machine is so slow.

More like UTI Machinery because if you get one you will probably urinate blood – These machines are horrible and the customer service is even worse. As soon as there is a fault it will be put down to "Operator Error".. from brake fade, rust in the floor, poor finish, dirty coolant, attachment failing, engine bay fires, gear levers snapping off, revers cameras that never worked....all Operator Error and all of them happened within 50 hours of use. Ume10s excavator front plastic cover – Ume10s excavator - just wondering if anyone has taken off the front plastic cover where the control levers are? I have hydraulic oil spraying out from somewhere in there. I have undone the 10 screws that hold the plastic cover on. However it will not come off. Thanks in advance for any help or tipsy

Top little machine, plenty of digging power and excellent manoeuvrability. Tough as nails, my machine has been on its side twice, due to operators poor skill set and a hilly operational environment (not a machine issue and the operator was not injured due to roll over protection), but once up righted and checked over, starts first time and shows… Read more

no ill effect. Downsides, its slow walking speed and small levers to engage drive but this is easily adapted to, and if needed I can easily put the machine on a trailer to move it around my property. Great machine for the price and well worth owning, has no bells or whistles very basic design which makes it easy to maintain. Comes with plenty of accessories. Would purchase again or consider other machinery from this manufacturer.

My experience – I had 2x small parts that failed on my excavator it wasn't major but when I let them no not only did they have them in stock they were posted out on the same day NOW that's service.

ever had. I submitted a claim, with some pictures, and they immediately sent out a new tank. In less than a week, the new tank is installed and issue sorted - pretty impressive service.
