Does not work

Reported these to the TGA. Have never produced a positive result when other tests have. Good to purchase only if you need a negative result! Show details

If it was flavor at least it would do something

Currently with Covid. Tested positive 3 days ago. Wanted to make sure these worked as easier for little ones. Took 3 tests last few days. Nothing. Nasal ones all positive. In the bin they went. Show details

Fails to register consistently

Three family members had covid, confirmed by nasal RATs and clear symptoms. During this period we used three of these which never showed even the faintest positive.

Do not waste your money on this

I tried using this test some months back and it failed to produce a result.
I used another brand immediately after and received a negative result.
Just now I thought I would give V-Chek a second chance. Same thing happened.
The instructions tell you to swab your mouth for 90 seconds until a marker turns blue. It rakes three times that time for the marker to even turn blue and then I got no result from the swab.
Honestly do not waste your money on this product. It's rubbish! Show details

Zero Stars

These do not work at all. My son brought these home as part of a school provision.

Testing twice for each sick person (stuck right up the back of the throat and so unpleasant!) when the whole household was in the midst of a COVID infection brought up a negative result each time. We knew we had Covid as we had ALL the symptoms and one family member already confirmed as positive by the Alltest brand.

Had a relative drop another brand in and the result was an instant positive, as we knew it should be. Threw the remaining test out as they don't detect the virus. Show details

Easily the Best

I've used 5 different home tests, both nasal and oral. The V-check picked up covid a day and a half before the nasal tests the 1st time I got covid. More recently, I did a nasal test and it initially looked negative, but under bright lights, it looked like "maybe" there was a second line, it was so faint i thought i might be seeing things. Did a v-check and it was definitely positive, the next day, the nasal test also started to work. Its best if you cough a few times, before the test. They're great for kids too. Show details

Not reliable

We had 4 covid positive cases in our family and none were picked up with this test. I also tested 3 days after a positive pcr and still got a negative result while a nasal rat tested positive. Show details

V Check RAT should not exist. Useless

I tested positive with Covid, after testing with a Nasal Swab RAT test. Isolated with the wife and then she started to feel sick. She's started to test herself, with the free V-check RAT tests provided by the government. She tested everyday but was testing negative using the V-check RAT. She's getting worse and feeling sick. I go to the pharmacy and get a box of Nasal Swab RAT tests and she completes a test. She is positive straight away, completes another V-check test and it comes up negative. What an absolute waste of time they are. Show details

Consistently inaccurate

Used for all our family members. Reported negative results even with symptoms. Same day PCR was positive. Different brand saliva was also positive. Waste of money and very sorry I bought 20!

Inaccurate result

I used V-chek to test, on the same day of pcr test. PCR test shown positive, and so is another nasal swab brand, but V-chek shown negative. Surely, if you test on same day as pcr, you would expect result to be accurate
