Excellent service! – I received the exact hearing aids I wanted, and because it was not one of the regular hearing aids they usually stock, they went out of their way to get it and fit it for me. Louai is extremely patient and never rushes an appointment. I have referred a few of my friends to them who went and is also very impressed with their service.

When improvements to this system have been made over the years I have moved with them. Although I will never recover any hearing in my left ear the Cros transmitter has helped. Moving to the present, on the audiologist’s suggestion when I enquired about Blue Tooth, I was given a loan of an inexpensive Blue Tooth attachment for my current hearing aids, which are still in good working order. This appliance gives me a fair amount of hands free operations. At no time was I ever induced to purchase the more expensive new Blue Tooth hearing aids. In all the years that I have been a client at Value Hearing I have never had to say “I will have to get another quote from somebody else”.

Very poor service, and unresponsive CEO – I bought 2 top-of-the-range Phonak hearing aids from Value Hearing in March 2019, together with a 3-year service agreement covering annual hearing tests, servicing and replacement accessories (tips, etc.). while struggling to remove a Covid mask in the street. I had expected Value Hearing to offer me a replacement at a substantial discount. Silly me. Their price was very similar to what I had originally paid, nearly $3,000. I was so unimpressed that I decided to look on the Internet in other countries since hearing aids are marked up so highly in Australia. I found an identical Phonak hearing aid in the UK for around $1,900 at the then prevailing exchange rate, including tailoring it to my hearing requirements and free express postage. The replacement hearing aid duly arrived, its only problem being it was, of course, not paired with my other device. I contacted Value Hearing to arrange for this this pairing to occur, and was informed this would cost me $150. I pointed out that I was an existing customer with a 3-year service agreement which I had not utilised because of Covid, and that the pairing operation would take no more than 5 minutes to accomplish. This was of absolutely no interest to them, so I refused their offer and took no action. Some 3 weeks before the expiration of my service agreement I received an email from the CEO Lizetter Fourie pointing out that my hearing aid warranty was about to expire. I wrote back describing my experiences with Value Hearing and asking her for, perhaps, a more favourable outcome. The only response I ever received was an email stating her general unavailability because of interstate travel and a resultant "limited access and time to attend to all my e-mails". Customer Service is clearly unknown to Value Hearing. 6 weeks ago I visited an Audika shop and they provided an entirely unexpected experience. They conducted a hearing test, checked and cleaned my devices, and managed to pair them correctly. I was with their technician for one hour and there was no charge! If you value customer service, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. This is a business with little regard for its clients, greedy for money and unresponsive to requests for assistance. Losing a hearing aid can easily happen, and is expensive to replace, especially in Australia. I would expect my supplier to act in a compassionate and caring way. Value Hearing is not a company with any understanding of either of these values.

The hearing aid I chose with a variety of Bluetooth modes including access to podcasts, FM radio and phone calls was free for pensioners and other pensioners have told me they were not made aware of it at their providers. I have been able to see the same audiologist on an ongoing basis rather than meeting rotating staff. From the beginning I felt treated as an equal and no enquiry has been too much trouble for them. Telephone calls get a prompt response and the branch I go to is easily accessible by public transport. I highly recommend them.

Expert service – Not only are all staff pleasant and efficient, they are experts in their field and have improved my hearing with hearing aids purchased from them, but in addition their programming and backup service is second to none. telephone calls through the hearing aids, and how to disable it simply if I preferred the normal phone speaker.

The consultation was pricy, but tolerable as an initial one with a repeat in 12 months.

I was not at all pressured into looking at replacement aids, and was advised that the existing ones have some configuration room to cope with further hearing deterioration.

Excellent service – I have complex hearing loss and the Value Hearing audiologists have been outstanding in adjusting hearing aids to suit me. I was able to make many visits to adjust my new hearing aids (including changing brands) so that I was happy with the outcome in all situations. Definitely good value!!  Show reply

Superb service and convenient – Fantastic customer service. Friendly, responsive, and helpful staff. Affordable price. There are some care packages include various services such as finetuning, cleaning etc. I haven't tried it, but it is worthy. Wide range of products, the staff will help you to find the suitable ones, but you may need to do some research. Overall, I am very satisfied with Value Hearing services.

Follow up review of hearing decline – After a review of my hearing (6 years since last test) my aids were adjusted to reflect the decline over that period. It was like having new aids again. beginning from the initial enquiry to the call centre following up on queries was all most professional. They were happy to deal with me via email and text, which for my level of hearing is more appropriate than phone calls.

Their website has lots of information and can give you updates on technology and news, which is great. I'm so glad I found them.

Excellent customer service – Value Hearing staff have been always accommodative and provide immediate service to my hearing problems and my equipment setup. I leave the office completely satisfied with the value service and knowing that if I have a problem I will be attended to immediately. Hearing problems are a major issues and it affects both office and social life. Value Hearing staff realizes this and ensures its patients are cared for at once.

Friendly and helpful service – Having recently suffered a sudden hearing loss in one ear, I wanted to find out about hearing aid options. Value Hearing don't have a branch near me, but they generously offered a telephone consultation, which was helpful. They also have many useful articles about hearing and aids, freely available via their website. A caring company, I would say.
