There is one aspect I found a bit unusual: the photographer used a cheat sheet for pose inspiration. This was a first for my husband and me, and we were curious about its necessity.
When it came to viewing our photos, I was excited and kind of determined to purchase their Trove set. However, my husband was hesitant due to the eye-watering price. We decided to first see how the photos turned out. Despite the enthusiastic feedback from the photographer during the session, the photos didn't impress us as much as we had hoped. Considering the price, we expected more--let's say a "character" from each photos--especially since the studio’s displays were exceptional. Even our mums, who are generally easy to please, didn't show much excitement while viewing the photos.
Out of hundreds of photos, we ended up choosing only 15 shots, which we're not actually impressive to go on the Trove set. I was devastated. In the end, aside from the free A4 framed gift photo, we purchased just two digital copies for $500 (because the policy didn't put a price tag for each digital photo; it's either you get min of 15 or just 2 for $500 ). Nevertheless, we just said that $500 is reasonable enough for 2 digital copy and an a4-framed photo. Let's not treat it as "gifted" anymore.
We hope this feedback is helpful for future customer's sessions especially those who will be "gifted" with a photo session.

a ridiculous thing at my age, I really enjoyed it. My 'brief' was nothing 'Zoolander' or pretentious but I was up for something edgy and artistic. The professionalism and enthusiasm of Carmina, my photographer, was infectious. It was an incredibly positive experience and I walked away feeling good about myself, and thinking that if nothing else came of it then it had at least been a rewarding self indulgence.
Where it got expensive was on viewing the images Carmina had captured a few days later. They were quite simply beautiful. My resolve to enjoy the experience and walk away with my one complimentary print crumbled on contact with the images that Carmina had captured. As well as being an infectiously enthusiastic photographer she is a true artist. Artistic, sometimes subtly erotic (who knew I had it in me) but classy and so beautifully shot. I now wish I had been more adventurous and feel guilty that some really beautiful images had to be consigned to the computer recycling bin to fit even my expanded budget.
So although this is an expensive product, and my mother will probably never see the full set of images, you definitely experience and see the quality of what you're paying for in my opinion. It was a professional and welcoming experience throughout, I love the resulting images, and I will value the pictures that resulted long after I've passed the point at which I can justify posing for similar.
Overly expensive, very pushy for sales. Not for multigenerational families – Like many others, we had a gift voucher for a photoshoot. We were excited to use the voucher for some extended family photos. The morning of the photos spanned around 3.5 hours with very young children (7 children, ranging 4 months to 6 years old). is for young children. The family with a four month old and two year old was scheduled last for family shots (by the photographer), by which time the two year old wasn’t happy to participate anymore (and the photos reflect this).
The first half hour and last half hour were spent explaining the photo shoot and pushing sales with the adults only. Again, showing no understanding of how long young children had been indoors and how tired and bored they now were.
We were then pushed to attend a 3 hour photo presentation (aka sales) from 6pm-9pm on a weeknight. Again showing no understanding of how difficult that timing is for parents of young children.
The costs are absolutely exorbitant and I’ve never seen prices of a photography session so high. $2800 for access to 40 digital prints of which the quality is such that you can’t print them larger than A4. The photos are also quite photoshopped and some have huge amounts of white space. You’re made to choose and pay within the evening presentation and when you look more closely at the images at home after you’ve paid you notice the issues.
Finally, I’ve emailed both the photographer/designer and the general information email to sort out a problem with the photo selection and have heard nothing back for a week. It seems the company is all for persistent communication until they have a sale, and now they’ve ghosted me.
Very disappointed in the experience and definitely wouldn’t recommend for multi-generational photo shoots. Agree with others that they work on sales rather than the experience.

When we came in for the Design Consultation, Myles had an area set up for the twins and was similarly patient during our showing. He spent time listening to what we were looking for, and provided insights and recommendations accordingly. The designs were showcased in a very effective and moving video presentation, which also included some mock ups of different print designs in different frames and combinations.
Everyone at Verve was very communicative about the process the whole way through, and we can’t thank them enough.

Sophisticated [Content Removed] ‘gift’ – If you’ve received a ‘gift’ photo shoot, don’t take the bait. The ‘gift’ is just the photoshoot itself, not the actual photos. It is really an opportunity to spend thousands of dollars on the photos taken. If you want digitalis, they’ll cost you $395 PER PHOTO, for low res images. Stay away.
