Vevor Metal Detector Waterproof MD-3010

Don't believe the positive reviews – I read a lot of positive reviews about the MD-3010 Metal Detector before I purchased it for my son for christmas. I am positive they were all fake. This product doesn't work. If you sweep over a gold nugget, silver bar or coin (above ground) it detects it as either iron, aluminium, something else or doesn't detect it at all. The depth meter doesn't work. Heaps of false detection beeps too. It's impossible to find anything with this piece of rubbish. They have an Australian domain and a Melbourne phone number, but they're not in Australia. They don't provide refunds for faulty items within the 12 month warranty period. I would not trust this company if I were you.
