Happy Returning customer – Received mine this week and this is my second time. I’m not a part of this company at all I’m from Australia and believe me this works. My snoring would almost bring the house down my wife can’t believe the change. It takes a bit of getting used to but now after 2 or so years it’s just a part of my routine and is fine. Thanks so much Vital Sleep Very happy customer
Didn’t work for me but worth a try – I bought this device on-line. Looks well made. I have tried it on many occasions but it wasn’t a success. It is worth trying as it is much cheaper than one supplied by dentists. I think doesn’t mould to your teeth well enough. I tried to remould it a second time but it didn’t change much. I have just started using a very expensive unit from a dentist. It seems to be working so far. Good luck.
Reputable Company – I purchased a VitaSleep device but unfortunately it didn't work for me - too uncomfortable to wear. I went to their website and requested a refund as per their Guarantee. The refund process was simple and easy and I received the refund in 2 days. Considering the price of this device it is certainly worth trying and be comfortable you are dealing with a reputable company that backs up their promise.
Not great – A bit of a fizzer this one. Even after if was moulded to my mouth the pain from my bottom teeth was immense and one morning I honestly thought one of the lower teeth was wobbling. Add to this how often it falls out during the night and I just don’t think its worth what I spent.
Super uncomfortable – I was diagnosed with mild-moderate sleep apnoea and the sleep dr recommended trying either a [properly fitted] mandibular advancement device or a cpap machine. He said if I wanted to try an "el cheapo" mouthpiece that the VitalSleep might be worth a shot. I have it a shot just to see what it felt like but I gave up after two nights. A proper one… Read more
fitted by a dentist would no doubt be a lot better. My bottom teeth are a bit feral so the mouthpiece pressed against some of my teeth and really hurt after about 30 mins of use.
I'm going to give cpap hire a go and will think about getting a proper splint from a dentist BUT the VitalSleep has shown me how uncomfortable these things are in other ways - which I would want to discuss with someone before shelling out money. Firstly, ones saliva production goes through the roof which is gross. It actually feels like this contributes to breathing problems. Secondly, in the relaxed "closed" position your lips aren't actually touching and it is a very weird feeling falling asleep like this (I kept imagining insects crawling into my mouth while I slept!)
