Brought on sale and well worth the price paid. Arrived in Perth quickly and well packaged. The power station is a quality product and so much lighter than a standard deep cycle agm battery. The unit has plenty of outputs to power all my equipment when camping. Bought with a solar mat, which makes me completely power self sufficient when camping. Highly recommended. Show details · 1
it works great and works the way it should , and very with it so far,but could do with some 50 amp Anderson plugs on it , would be a big improvement Show details · 1

The delivery was very quick, we haven't really used it but after fully charging the v1200 easily powered the wife's 12volt hair straightener so all good so far. I plan to use it in our motorhome to compliment our house batteries. The cost of converting to lithium house batteries is too much for us so I see this as an affordable alternative. Show reply
Follow-up · So our first trip with the power station and so far so good with numerous re charging of phones and a CPAP battery and a little bit of TV we are down to an amazing 96% of charge. I'm very happy so far.

The unit is good doing most things that said it would do the biggest concern I have is the way it was advertised showing Bluetooth symbols but when you actually get the unit you see in the fine print that there is a thin line through it. No Bluetooth available to me. This is false advertising. They should say upfront in the specs stated basically out loud I think it is sneaky Show details · 1
Have not used yet but seems well equipped for camping trips. Plenty of charging options with built in MPPT. My XTM solar blanket worked well and can be used concurrently, when for example running 12V fridge. Hardly used any power after a few hours. In fact charged back to 100% after disconnecting fridge. Initially disappointed as the battery provided less than half of stated capacity of 1152WH on first use even though 100% charged. A little bit of online research and four full charge/discharge cycles and it eventually returned reasonable 'real world' capacity (1040Wh). Vendor was responsive and offered to take the unit back for inspection/repair… Read more
if needed, but I will hope that the issue is sorted out. The unit itself is pretty good with decent specs, and its rapid recharge via 240V AC is a bonus, compared to other power stations I have used. NB, as some others have noted it takes a while to charge from 99% to 100%, but this is normal apparently, allowing the battery cells to rebalance. Voltx might do well to include a bit of info about battery conditioning/rebalancing etc. for their customers.
Loving my recent purchase. As an independent Mum, I'm not hugely tech savvy and don't understand all things volts / watts and what not, but this unit is super simple and easy to use. It powered my 40L fridge super easy over 3 nights of camping with no issues. Used both main connection & 12v connection into the portable power station. The battery… Read more · 1
never dipped below 80% and I was only using a 160watt solar blanket. Charged my phone and other devices without a hitch. Love that it's portable & lightweight compared to my 138ah Deep Cycle battery I was using previously. Very happy with my purchase. I should have done it sooner!
The V1200 power station is excellent. I did however ask a staff member if the V1200 had an Anderson plug female socket and the answer was yes! I can’t find it! Regards Salvatore Show reply
The item purchased suited my requirements. The ordering, and dealing with the company was easy. The items were delivered quickly and in good condition. Very happy so far Show details · 1

Great little unit, I mainly use it to run a portable freezer, camp lights and sundry stuff, also take my electric guitar and amp down the beach occasionally so I can turn it UP ha ha. It runs all my power tools. Lasts about 30 hrs to almost total flat just running freezer (40w draw when running), but I recharge when around 5% - 10% with AC around… Read more · 1
24 hrs I haven't set up or tried any solar input yet, but it's coming. I also Recently bought the Gentrax 800 generator mostly for backup to charge the station, takes about 2 hours as with home AC. Cheers
Although I bought this for camping, it’s come in handy more than once for providing power during power outages at home. Several hours of my laptop, NTD and router plugged in and only used 15% of the battery. Easy to use and charge, do recommend. Show details · 1

service was excellent and initial usage showed it would do all that I needed - over 3 days with my camping fridge on and some electronic charging, still didn't even draw down to 80%. perfect and looking forward to future trips. Show reply

I purchased this after the SEQ cyclone took out our grid power for a couple of days which meant our solar system's battery ran out overnight and needed a reset, but I was not able to do so as there was no NBN modem & WiFi (so while we had solar, it wouldn't feed the house until I could reset the system). The VoltX provides a minimum few days power… Read more · 1
to both NBN modem & WiFi so in the event of another grid/solar/battery outage I will be able to reset & get solar/battery power. I tested it by turning off the mains to the unit last week and the NBN modem & WiFi didn’t even blink, so it appears to be set up! It was very easy to set up.
Very good power station. Plenty of power for what we need in our little campervan. We used it on our very recent week and a half away, and did everything we wanted it for. Charges quickly, and has all the information you need on the readout. Postage from NSW to Qld. was very quick......2 days! And got it at a really good discount price of under $700. So far, very happy. Good company to work with, highly recommend. Show reply

Hello, very happy with my purchase so far it’s kept me off the grid for eight weeks straight and I’m quite happy with that, and the price Was remarkably cheap ,if you base it against buying a top of the range 4000whs units , You get a lot more watt hours, for a lot less money, buying two of these would work out A lot cheaper than a 4000whs unit ,… Read more · 1
you’ll be paying $1800 and upwards ,and I can’t fault this company. To Personally ring you up and see If you’re happy with your purchase I can’t fault that ,Finally a company that cares About the person, not the pocket, Kind regards Mark
Purchased for power outages. Was able to power our family sized fridge and chest freezer for about 18 hours. Have since used it to power corded tools and lights at a house renovation with no mains power. It's a very welcome addition to the household and we are now much more resilient when we get hit with storms here in Brisbane. Build quality seems fine and it's easy to use. Show details · 1
Very impressed with this power station, it meets all expectations. We have run our TV all day without a problem and used less than 20% of the battery. Outbax was a great company to deal with. Show details · 1
I'm using my VoltX Topband V1200 Portable Power Station as an Uninterrupted Power Supply for a bushfire curtain. I have a window that backs onto bush and it's important that I can control the curtain when the power is out. The supplier of the curtain wanted to charge me $5000 for their own battery backup. Received the Power station promptly, very impressed with the speed of delivery. Also ordered a solar blanket to match which arrived a day later. My reason for purchasing was twofold, both for camping and a backup power supply for home, which we have experienced quite a few outages over the last 2 years on the central coast. Note: I did already… Read more · 1
have a 2.5kv generator which does the job fine in the event of an outage however not ideal to run at night with the noise generated.
Anyway, upon receiving the power station i plugged it in to 240V and completely charged it up and then started to do a few tests at home to see what it could handle. I plugged our large 2 door fridge in, TV, Internet modem and a few other items all at the same time - was no problems and left running for a while few hours and coped well. Note: TV operated fine due to the pure sine wave capability of the power bank.
I then switched the power bank off, state of charge (SOC) was sitting at 76% and this time I only left the fridge connected, however I now connected the solar blanket (which was easy to connect with good instructions) - I left the fridge connected to the power bank for around 8-9 hours. regularly checking the SOC. It was always hovering around 73-76% SOC during that period and at the end of the 8-9 hours.
So in a nutshell both the power bank and the solar blanket performed really well during the test and assuming reasonable sunlight during the day would certainly keep the Power bank topped running the fridge during the day and other items. Additionally, the power bank on its own would be enough to run the fridge overnight and a few other items without any input from the solar blanket.
Note: One week later we actually experienced another power outage between 9.00pm and .5.30am one night and i consequently ran the fridge off the power station during that period - starting voltage was 76% SOC ( I hadn't had a chance to fully charge it since the test) and at 5.30am SOC was 48% - pretty good outcome and would certainly have keep the fridge running for quite a few hours til the solar blanket could have been utilised.
So from my tests and experiences so far, I would certainly recommend these products, overall quality of everything supplied was also quite good, so thumbs up from me !!
While I have not given my VoltX much of a workout as yet I am happy with its performance - it charges quickly off 240 volts and I topped it up quite quickly with a 150 watt solar blanket as well. I used it to drive an angle grinder out in the paddock the other day and was happy with how that went - a 2 minute job only dropped the battery about 4%… Read more · 1
and it is a lot quicker to set up than the petrol generator I would have otherwise used. It also successfully ran my home office's modem, router, monitors and computer, so I am OK to work through the next blackout
