VTech T1100

Lasted only a short time – Not a quality phone. Used only very occasionally, yet only lasted less than a year before finally causing a line fault that nearly had me calling a Telstra tech out. The symptom was a weird crackling sound that people making incoming calls heard, while on my side no ring, nothing. Swapped out the phone with a Uniden and problem disappeared. During the time I had it, the Vtech also caused numerous problems on the line when the batteries inside the unit ran down, which happens without any warning. The first you know of it is when people tell you they cannot call your phone, no answer.
My advice is only to buy landline phones from recognised brands like Uniden and Oricom.
This unit was a waste of $25.
Good basic corded phone – Bought this at Kmart for only $20. Needed a basic corded landline phone that i could attach to a wall so i could have a phone that would not go missing. The sound clarity is good. The phone is pleasing to the eye and looks good with its neutral colors. On the downside It does require 4 AA batteries which need to be purchased separately Some of the features include
last number redial, 3 one touch memories, 10 two touch memories, Calling Number Display capable with 80 number Call List and it is wall or desk mountable.

Was replaced by VTech after a lot of to and fro. Edit: the replacement lasted 1 year and then developed a similar fault. Complete garbage.
