Useful product for a short while – For perfect results, you must dilute the acrylic paint 7-10% (use the dipstick supplied), you must strain the paint with a fine muslin sieve (sold as "Paint Strainer Bags" at Bunnings), and you must properly clean the unit after each use. Wipe the nozzle frequently during use with a damp rag as well. If you do all that, you should have no problems for about 20-30 jobs. Thereafter, you'll have to replace the nozzle and jet. I have repainted all my home's doors, shutters, blinds, nightstands, and more. I tried the W570 and W590, but they were actually inferior to this product. I also painted all my kitchen cabinetry.

This is not a good product for painting walls because the paint goes on too slowly and the spray pattern is too narrow. To paint walls, forget about these handheld units and get an airless unit (they cost $800 and up, but you can hire them).

This is a very worthwhile tool for a few jobs, thereafter it wears out and the paint starts sputtering. After about 20 hours use it was worn out, the cheap plastic jets and nozzles worn to the point that the paint was not misting, but spattering. I could have bought a new nozzle and jet, but instead replaced it with an Iwata AZ3 metal spray gun from eBay (the kind that you see automotive painters using), coupled with a 2mm nozzle for acrylic paint, and a $500 compressor from Supercheap. Instantly I was able to get a fine mist spray that I could not get from the Wagner.

So if you have one household of bits and pieces to spray, this is an okay product, but for professional, extended use, go full metal and get a proper heavy duty compressor,
