After a lifetime of using horse clippers these are the worse I’ve ever used. For months I had problems with the blades not cutting. I even purchased brand new blades but still they wouldn’t work. I sent them back 3 times before Wahl finally admitted they were have trouble with their blades. They replaced them all. I’ve don’t just one clip and the clippers are not working again. BEWARE!!!

Circuit board just gently bend the fingers down under the switch, usually enough to get them going again. If the blade stops… Read more

cutting can be wear on the tongue that fits in the blade roughly about $10 to replace. If your clippers don’t cut more often than not your blades need attention from a sharpener. Ask your local dog groomer or poodle club ppl that do this they will have a reputable person, not just someone who’ll have a go . I’ve been doing this for about 30years now and find amusement in some the wahl reviews. If the motor works it should clip be it km2,5or10

Then last week September 2016 (17months later) and although stated on the box 10,000hr life on motor it lasted only 750hrs, the reason being the bearing needs… Read more

replacing, and as it is an interference fit and attached to the spindle of the motor, you cannot purchase the $3 bearing separately, therefore you have to purchase the entire motor for approximately $160, and, because they were purchased in Australia they only have a 1yr warranty, if they had been purchased in the UK or USA I would have received a 5yr warranty.
