took about an hour to soak the filters etc when setting up, but now that it's done, I won't have to do any serious changing for the next 2 years (there are three stages to the filtration) - you are also provided with all the filter components required to last you the two years... so no having to run out and order extra filters every few months.

Downside (if you can call it that) - the jug is only 1.9L. So if you drink a lot of water, you'll be refilling frequently. I will consider buying one of Water Co's larger filters in future, simply because I drink so much water to begin with!
