March 2025. The Manager assessed the situation and immediately arranged for the seats to be cleaned. The whole experience, from my email to addressing the matter today, has left me feeling like a valued customer. Should you ever have an issue, I hope you experience the same professionalism as I did. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent self-service wash. It seems like they are more interested in overcharging customers than providing quality service. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Do not use for detailing – Full inside and outside detailing $880. Braddon. Had the car in at 8am - still being done at 5pm. Insisted I pay up front. Drove away sitting on wet seats. Obviously wanting to get the volume sales rather than prioritising bookings. Detailing appears to be a spray to cover up stains on interior panels - wears off and coffee and other stains appear again in holder panel (no not new). Slippery accelerator and brake pedals. Never again.

Most expensive car wash in Oz – Just finished a trip and found waves car wash to be the biggest rip off in Australia. Every car wash I used whilst travelling was reasonably priced. Waves prices are just ridiculous.

I have a newish car that I want to keep looking neat, it's black which makes it tricky. I have mobility issues so washing my car is really difficult for me and I visited my nearest Waves Car Wash a few times and was always really happy with the result. while the cars in front of me are cleaned. I have now taken up a subscription and visit whenever my car is looking the worse for wear! I'm really happy with the service and how my car looks and feels after it's been cleaned.

We use the auto wash for the convenience and quality, however after some issues with downloading the invoices, Daniel and the team provided prompt and fantastic support. I was even given information about joining as a member to gain access to all past invoices as well. 10/10 recommend getting in touch with the team if you've got questions or concerns. Show reply

car. I have used both the Gungahlin & Phillip car washes and always have had good results. My sons also bring their cars here and have a membership as they also feel that it is money well spent for the service Waves provides.

Avoid if you want a clean car – Underwhelming pressure on the "High Pressure" more expensive than the others. Don't pay $7 (for less than three and a half minutes) for a wash in Phillip, you'll get a much better was for $3 (for four and a half minutes) in Fyshwick. The hose takes a while to switch modes, and you might get more pressure from a garden hose.

Rip-off – Went to Waves last week for the first and last time. Window cleaning costs extra, Bug removal costs extra, Wheel cleaning costs extra Vacuuming properly costs extra, Boot vacuum costs extra I’m embarrassed to say I paid $130 for a second rate machine car wash. Never again

Most expensive car wash I’ve used in Australia – Ridiculously expensive DIY wash bay.$4 to start the machine for 2 mins then if you haven’t put another $2 in 50 sec (I think it was) it starts again and you need to put $4 in again to start to only get 2mins worth.Brush didn’t even get marks off car…. Wasted a minute today waiting for the spray to come out after pressing 10 times…. Most stupid setup most expensive car wash I have been to in Australia.

Self wash rip off… $1 for 30 seconds!! – The self serve is as bad as the ‘valet or quick wash’ cost about $2 per minute and you wait 30 seconds for any product to come out of the hose… much cheaper and better function options elsewhere… this is a massive rip off!

vacuum cleaner and removed more easily , bugs still sticking despite the prep extra had to be wiped off by me later I think they need to improve service all of about 15 mins for wash and part vacuum Don’t use is my suggestion !!! Big problem when you have to pay upfront and no recourse to have job reviewed

Never Going Back – Expensive and poor quality finish. Machine wash and a very average vacuum. Extra cost to wipe my windows. Extra cost to wipe down the interior. Extra cost for pretty much everything above the basic wash and vacuum.

The recent price increase is ridiculous – I have been taking both our cars to Waves Phillip every Sunday since they opened, have been pretty happy with the service until they recently increased their rates by 100%. Now a waste of money and there are many other options out there that are more cost effective. Quite Disappointing. Even the staff there agree it's a rip off and I'm not the only one who has brought it up.

Don't waste your money. Avoid this place – - there should be an option to give zero stars - to clean windows costs extra - for the price I paid I understood it to be a hand wash but it wasn't. of dirt - despite paying additional per window, they were not cleaned - the only good thing ( and should not have been the case) was a young girl whose job it appeared was to dry or polish the car. She was the only one near pickup. As soon as I pointed out she saw what I was talking about and started to clean with a cloth and spray. poor girl kept apologising. Because most of the car had to be done she got another person to assist - with a small child in tow; having hung around the nearby shops waiting for more than 2 hrs I didn't have it in me to debate it out. text to say it was ready the poor girl who was cleaning another car had to come over and apologise for the quality. She tried her best to adjust but I was so infuriated and could see it was going to be easier and quicker to just do myself I just left. There should be an option for no stars. Expensive and sub standard – $155 later, Not happy, they have been charging more and doing a poorer job. I like the location, so was hoping with the increase in price it would have improved.I pointed out that gap beside the seat and the door wasn't done well and they said that is extra, hilarious. $155 dollars ? job, then the outside still had bugs and dirt around the bottom of the car, then when I opened the boot, it didn't even appear that it was vacuumed which I paid extra for, then, when I opened the car door there was still dirt all along the rim of the opening, the hub caps where still all greasy and dirty, I could go on, but please, do yourself a favor, don't waste your money here, they don't deserve your hard earned money. I literally had to go over it all again the follow day, but it was only then that I came to realise how bad the job was. I have to say that I got it done once at the car wash under Big W car park at Gunghalin and they not only charged a lot less, but did the whole car for the one price and it was immaculate. I hate getting ripped off.

Horrible car wash – The car wash at WAVES BRADDON in ACT was so horrible that I needed to clean the interiors myself when I got home. They really need to start using clean cloths to clean the interiors. The seats and the dashboard had residue from dirty cloths they had used. They would not vacuum the boot for the general Vacuum and Wash and it was another add on. It was just ridiculously priced and careless service that I will not be going back.

Unprofessional – I was waiting in the line and was told to move to another position by the greeting staff which I tried to do. As I went to move someone else drove up and took the spot. I decided to give them a second chance. That was my mistake. They never do a decent wash. Bits missed, everything is an extra. Emailed the company and was told I would get a phone call from the manager. That was almost 2 weeks ago. Manager rang whilst I was at work. I asked for him to call back after 4pm. turned out to be an extremely rude and aggressive individual, who explained to me that you don't necessarily get your car washed in the order that you turn up, as there are some customers who are more important than others, they being "members"or some such, and their vehicles get priority. When I suggested that a sign pointing this out might be in order, he told me that it was not his job to point this out, but rather that it was my job to ask the question. Rude managers poor service – Loyal member for over a year. Must have new management, suddenly the quality of service has declined significantly and management is extremely rude. Overall poor service. Do not risk it! Love your vehicle! They will not!

They do not honour their own discount coupons. Even though they said they would when I dropped off the car. Buyer beware – They cleaned the car. Offered snow protection. Whatever that is. They do not honour entertainment book vouchers. Would not use again. Waste of money. Sales dude will try and upsell all the time.

The most dishonest company I’ve dealt with – I picked up my vehicle and there was liquid everywhere. Display of my stereo was working when dropped off. Not working when picked up. Photos show liquid dripping the USB and around edges of the stereo. They are trying to deny liability.

They didn't call me at all until today 30th November I contact the Waves wash office to find out what's happening.

They call me back at 11.40 am and telling me the Claim Department not takes any responsibility for damages and i need to spend from my money to fix the damages they done to my car.

Very unprofessional manager and she's very rude and denying about everything's they done to my car.

Do not use Waves car wash as they not care about your property, they only thinking for money and not providing any good services except damage your car.

Dishonest when Hiring young people be careful – When these people hire young people they try them out for a day without pay and they never reply back to them whether they're hired or not. It makes me wonder if most of their staff are just been on trial days everyday this way they use young people and rip them off by not paying them and give the young needy people their hopes up. Very dis honest and un professional. Should be dobbed in as crooks.
