Rude and very unprofessional grumpy old man. Wrong item was delivered to my house and I shipped back the product and he didn’t give me my refund. Didn’t want to answer calls too, never again do business with this grumpy old man

I strongly advise caution when dealing with this business. I placed an order over four months ago for a product clearly listed as "in stock" on the website. After receiving no shipping confirmation or tracking information, I followed up multiple times via email—most of which went unanswered. Eventually, Wayne informed me that the item was… Read more

actually being sourced from another warehouse, contrary to what was advertised.

Despite ongoing follow-ups, I was repeatedly told the item was delayed, with no proactive communication from the business. When Wayne finally confirmed that the product had arrived last Tuesday, he assured me it would be delivered by the end of that week. It has now been eight business days, and I still have not received the product.

Wayne refuses to provide proof of shipment or issue a refund. A formal complaint has been lodged with Fair Trading.

This experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. The lack of transparency, poor communication, and failure to deliver the product or issue a refund is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I do not recommend this business.

Dishonest seller - even to other businesses / tradespeople! NOT GENUINE PARTS! – Advertised genuine FP parts. I emailed, they confirmed "yes genuine". Ordered and they were NOT genuine - in fact completely worthless & defective. I informed them, they did not care & had to start a dispute to get money back. Very dishonest.

About time someone stood up to people that think they are technicians and can repair products then complain when it doesn't work or not the correct part and abuse you. GET A PROFESSIONAL IN and don't put yourself at risk of injury when you don't know what your doing.

Needed a pump for a Fischer and Paykel washing machine urgently so thought it would be quicker to get from this guy since I live nearby and could pick it up. website and when I told him that he got annoyed and snapped back it was an old listing and not relevant. His phone manner is flippant and arrogant and one of the reasons why he is so despised. I decided to source cheaper from another seller and wait for its arrival. The word 'wholesale' is just a word. His prices are full retail and more. I had two previous dealings with this company with mixed reviews but this time is the last. After ACA exposed him the fake positive reviews from the white Knight brigade that have never dealt with him are flooding in but don't be fooled, there is a reason why he has so many bad reviews. I ended up taking the washing to my mother in laws and did it there LOL

Absolutely disgusting experience. Tried to return an item under the stated "returns policy" on the site and was told "NO, trade only". When I mentioned that I'd be leaving a negative review for this, I was called a "crap", etc. Abusive, rude, unprofessional, and unhinged.

Haier Fridge Part PCB – Ordered a PCB for my Haier fridge after speaking with [Content Removed] on the phone. he told me they did not have in stock but was expecting stock the following week, from Monday 9/12/24. I gave him my name & postage address, & advised to not debit my account until the Wednesday. Wednesday my account was debited for $181.05, although the part I… Read more

ordered online was $132. Rip off if charging so much for postage. Phoned him 16/12/24 this week to find out if the part had been mailed, said it was. I told him I had still not received it. Phoned him again 16/12/24, after COB & left a voice mail message to please contact me & advise a tracking number. Still no reply. Sent an online enquiry, no response to that either. Phoned & spoke with some chick there & asked about details of postage & I would like a tax invoice/receipt of purchase. I said no part received as yet, she was a rude so & so, said that is my problem to follow up with Australia Post. I said if I don't receive it I want a refund, she said that is not going to happen, it has nothing to do with them. what a horrible, unprofessional, rude lot of things they are. I really do not know how these things are in business. Dodgy lot.

I have known Wayne for over 30 years, I always ensure that I have ordered the correct part as special orders are NOT returnable. Myself as appliance service technician Wayne has always supplied the part ordered, never incorrect. I have found Wayne very reliable and very honest to deal with. Many thanks Wayne. DON NOT NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY – DON NOT NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY ! Purchased item made payment. Told item no longer in stock, apparently hadn’t been out of stock for 4 years. Update you website instead of just adding n.l.a (which now I know meant ‘no longer available’) and why send invoice !! Fine it’s no longer in stock just refund what you didn’t deliver. Instead of an arrogant reply and refusal to refund…shonky business practice!!

I phoned them and talked to Wayne, who denied that the original quote would have been that low.... when I offered to return the part and asked for a refund he just got mad and abusive. I tried to block the charge through my bank, but as I had received no confirmation of the price quoted this process is unlikely to work. So, be careful when dealing with this outfit, to me it looked very much like a 'deliberate mistake', and a way of making extra money without the customer having any real means of getting their money back.

How to run a business - not – Looking for dishwasher parts. The website said they were available in stock. had parts diagrams and photo of product ID. Denied they were shown as available his website - showed him the page. Dishonest Business Practices – If you enjoy rude service, narcissistic behaviour, having your money stolen due to the owner's mistakes, inadequacies, and improbable theories on appliance faults that negate warranty claims, this is the place for you. [Name Removed] is rude, obnoxious, and will never admit he is wrong. I took an Electrolux vacuum cleaner to him for warranty… Read more

repair, as the button to turn it on and off would not work at times. [Name Removed] yelled down from upstairs, without having touched the vacuum cleaner, that it will be hair stuck in the roller. I told him multiple times that it has nothing to do with a clogged roller as:

a. I clean it regularly and it makes no difference. b. A clogged roller makes no sense given overall symptoms I won’t bore you with here.

He continued to rudely argue that he was right. I left it there and get a call a couple of days later that it’s ready and that he was right, so I owe $38 as it was my fault, which I pay.

I take it home and within 60 seconds the same symptoms appear, plus it starts cutting out each 30-40 seconds. I take several videos of this, which clearly show it cutting out and the button not working, and send to [Name Removed], saying I now want my money back as he is clearly wrong.

[Name Removed] refuses to admit he is wrong and says he will not pay back the money.

I am not sure whether [Name Removed] is just a scammer or just so narcissistic that he can’t admit he is wrong. Either way, customers lose. Just look at all of his replies to negative feedback on sites like Google – he is never wrong and always customer’s fault. I’m sure he will reply to my comment and say that I am lying, just like he did with other customers.

I would steer well clear of this man and his business.

blanco spare part – I phoned Wayne''s Wholesale Spares and was after a set of hinges for my oven. The gentleman who answered the phoned was most helpful and had all the information regarding my oven on hand. The hinges were sent out and I received them the next day and were the correct ones in a genuine bag. I will be referring all my friends to Wayne's Wholesale for any appliance part they require. Great company and great service

Trash with a capital T – Needed to buy a spare part for a dishwasher. They told us which piece we would need but then when they posted it to us it was the wrong part. We called them up and offered for us to pay to post it back to get a refund to them but they were adamant that it would not be happening even though it says you can do returns. Terrible customer service and will never buy from them again, neither should you.

The worst customer service I've ever experienced – The short version: I brought my Sunbeam espresso machine to this so-called ‘authorised service agent’ to have the group head collar fixed and the motherboard replaced (both gave up almost in unison after an impressive trouble-free eight years). A job I was later told should take about three days had taken eight weeks when I finally decided to… Read more

complain. The owner showed no remorse, argued with me, blamed Sunbeam for slow supply of parts, and (as it turned out) had ordered the wrong parts for my machine. Thank goodness the wonderful team at Sunbeam's head office sorted it all out for me.

Avoid Wayne’s Wholesale Spares at all costs. Seriously. If my only options were to visit Wayne’s Wholesale Spares again or drink cold International Roast for the rest of my life, I would choose option two.

The long version:

On December 30, 2015, I took my Sunbeam Cafe Series espresso machine to Wayne's Wholesale Spares. The machine had two problems: the group head collar was cracked, and when the machine was switched off it remained hot as if it were still on. I dropped it off and paid an $80 fee for them to look at it.

On January 6, the company called me and I was given a verbal quote of about $400 (including the $80 fee) to replace the group head collar and the motherboard. I told them to go ahead.

Between that date and February 29 I was not given the courtesy of a single call to update me on the progress of the work. I had to call the workshop every time. The first time I was told the mechanic had only just started to look at it. During the subsequent two calls I was told the company was waiting on parts, but was given no additional information about what the parts were or indeed an estimation of how much longer I would have to wait.

On the week commencing February 22, I called and was told that at some stage – I don't know exactly when because no one informed me – the knob for the hot water had broken off as the mechanic tried to open the machine. They were still waiting for that part, I was told tersely.

On the morning of February 29, I called The Boss to complain about the extended delay and pointed out that I was paying $4 a day for espresso coffee that I could be making for a fraction of that price had my machine been fixed. He was utterly unsympathetic, told me I should drink instant coffee, and blamed Sunbeam for not supplying the parts in a timely fashion. I told him I had no intention of paying for the replacement knob, which he agreed to. Then I asked him to get in touch with Sunbeam, find out what was going on regarding the hot water knob, and to call me back with an approximate ETA. He said he would.

In the interim, I spoke to a lovely woman at Sunbeam’s customer service centre. She assured me that most repairs should be carried out within two weeks and that two months was extraordinary. She asked for the name of the company, and when I gave it to her she said Wayne's Wholesale Spares had not been trained in repairing espresso machines. I began to wonder if I was being ripped off.

When by 3pm The Boss had not called me back, I decided to go to the workshop in person and try to reach some sort of resolution.

When I arrived, The Boss was out picking up a part for another job. I spoke to one of his employees, who agreed a two-month wait was ridiculous and showed far more comprehension of good customer service than his boss. I said I was happy to pay the invoice, less a negotiated dollar figure as compensation for the long wait and atrocious customer service. But the employee could not authorise that, and when The Boss returned to the warehouse and I tried to discuss it with him, he was flat-out rude, again blamed delivery of parts for the delay, and said the broken knob was my fault for not servicing the machine properly.

When I told him that according to Sunbeam he was not an authorised repairer of espresso machines, he denied it and said he had attained accreditation under another company, Lead In Appliances. (This might or might not have been true, but whatever the case, neither he nor his mechanics could tell the difference between a 6900 and a 6910 model which I’ll get to shortly.)

With no other recourse, I was forced to leave my machine in his possession. I called the Sunbeam customer service hotline again and relayed my story. This rep was also lovely and he asked me to email him the details of my complaint.

It was quickly passed on to the appropriate person at Sunbeam’s head office. She apologised for what had happened and promised to look into it, which she did promptly. When it became clear that everything I said was the truth, she told me to pay the money to reclaim my machine. If there were any problems with the repair, she would then have it fixed free of charge at Adam’s Appliances in Punchbowl.

I took it home. Four times I tried to use it, four times water leaked through the brand new collar.

So I took it to the eponymous Adam at Adam’s Appliances and he was everything that The Boss wasn’t. He took one look at the machine and knew what model it was, he called me back when the job was completed, and was courteous in all his dealings with me. He was also appalled to discover that The Boss’s mechanic had fitted a 6910 collar to a 6900 machine. No wonder it was leaking!

So Mr Boss, I hope you enjoy your ill-gotten $400. With any luck, this review will ensure you lose that much and more in future business.

And big props to the representatives at Sunbeam’s head office, who were so understanding and helped me cut this malignant tumour of a company out of my life. I hope Sunbeam does the same. I’ve always had a high opinion of the brand, and this 'authorised service agent' does it a disservice.

Buyer of spare parts beware! – I bought a Electrolux coffee machine from The Good Guys which came with a fabulous milk frother. owner. I told him that I needed a new lid for my Electrolux frother that came with the machine I bought at Good Guys and he said he knew exactly what I needed ($12 + $10 delivery, + GST which he forgot to mention) and would send it by courier that day. I thought wow that's great. I've never encountered a sales person with such a disinterested manner and approach but seemed to know exactly what I needed.

When the part arrived it was the wrong one. I called and spoke to another sales person and told him what happened. I made sure this time that I gave him every number I could find on the frother to make sure they sent me the right one this time. He said he would look into it and call me back. An hour and a half later I called to check what was happening and spoke to the sales person I spoke to originally. He said he couldn't do anything about it as it was 10 to 5pm and they were closing!

I called again the next day.The same person I spoke to the day before said they would need to order the right part and told me to send the one I had back to them (at my own expense). I sent the part back to them via express post ($10) and then heard nothing for a couple of days.

The following week I get a call to tell me that the part had arrived and I had to pay a further $16! I told them that after all this I would have spent $11 + $10 + $10 + $16 = $47 on a part when I could have bought a new frother!

I told them I didn't want to pay more and to refund what I had paid.

Now get this....... they charged me a 20% restocking fee! I asked the girl why they wanted to charge me a fee on an incorrect part and she said that's all she knows and what she's been told. In the end I told them to just refund me whatever so I at least get something back from them.

This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered. They were so disinterested in any level of customer service and what service they offered was appalling.

I called Good Guys at Bankstown to make them aware of who they were recommending to their customers and the person who picked up the phone could not even understand me. I had to repeat myself 4 times (when I got to the 3rd/4th time I even talked really slowly) and finally gave up and asked for someone else to speak to (she even got angry with me). I then proceeded to speak to 2 other people and was left with "the Manager will call you tomorrow". That was over 3 weeks ago. Needless to say I won't be returning to The Good Guys Bankstown any time soon!
