This is my first real welding helmet, but I have a mate with a 3M Speedglass and I've had a look through it. Difference between the helmet I learned on which was a 60 Ebay one; and the Promax 350 is how easily everything can be seen. In welding tutorials where they talk about being able to see the flux layer. I can see that clearly now, not a vague area. If you want to get better at stick or TIG, this will make a huge difference. Show details

The Australian flag print is subtle and well done in a mat finish different to the blue, which I had borrowed and prompted me to buy my own helmet. I really like the helmet bag, the draw string to hang it up, and welding outside I've put the helmet on the bag to save scratching the viewing window (to which a few spare windows are included), overall a very well presented product with a warranty that looks for real. Show details

Easy-to-use, functional and good design in the PROMAX 350 – The local Men's Shed bought a PROMAX Model 350 helmet for our metalworking activities, and I was first to use it. I found the flash response and darkening were more than adequate to protect myself from arc-eyes without losing visibility of the weld area details; also, the helmet was lightweight and comfortable to wear. Value for money – I have used this helmet quite frequently and find it reliable, comfortable and does the job it is designed to do. I would definitely purchase this helmet again.

As things change with age – Circumstances can change and in my case it was the loss of an eye and depth perception I found using the older style helmet no longer cut the mustard. In my case have found this helmet gives me the ability to continue welding. The adjustability, sensitivity and the overall lens size makes viewing what I am doing easier. Weldclass PROMAX 350 Welding Helmet – I added a 1.5 Magnifying lens as I need to where 1.5 glasses. It made it a lot easier than having to wear glasses instead, where they usually fog up. the world is these days with improvements and discoveries that have been made to improve things.

Also the adjustments make it easier to have the Helmet on the proper settings where my old helmet did not have different settings. The Instruction Manual is also easy to follow.

Good quality helmet – Promax 350 is a good helmet that allows for individual adjust to suit the user. Good control of shade level and response time is great. Weight and fit are comfortable. This is a great mid-price helmet. Plenty of adjustment and easy to set up. Recommend this helmet for DIY or trades.
