Love this Helmet, had one for my entire apprenticeship in 2020 only just getting a new one now, Larger than most lenses and the “trucolour” makes it crystal clear

Upgraded to the Promax 500 from the Promax 130. So far I can safely say this welding helmet has great visibility and the settings are really easy to use. I also love the adjustable head straps (same as the 130) and how lightweight it is. The straps don’t get caught in my long hair when I adjust them or take the helmet off, and I don’t get any neck pain from wearing it. All in all good experience so far!

Honestly this welding helmet is one of the best I have ever used, well built, easy to use and I’m producing some of my best work with it, highly recommended!! Also was affordable which is great because I’m on a tight budget.
The larger viewing window is an advantage when teaching or learning to weld by providing a better overall sight of welding technique e.g. correct angles and movement. The Promax 500 also accommodates for teachers/students required to wear prescription spectacles when undertaking welding activities. Show details
Very large and clear viewing window and a decent gap between the inner lens and my face while wearing prescription glasses and safety goggles. Perfect shading to allow maximum clarity of view. clearly, I can follow chalk lines, and I can monitor my travel speed better. Single biggest improvement to my welding kit and technique. Highly recommended
Love the extra large screen, is a very comfortable lightweight welding helmet, easy to read dials and long battery life. Definitely recommend.

one of the best helmets I own – The weldclass promax 500 is the 5th autodarkening helmet I've owned, and is easily equal top performer alongside the ASAB Sentinel A50 I also use. Wide view, and very clear colour discrimination. The reaction time is excellent, and doesn't seem to false start too often. covers are a must. (The A50 uses a proprietary lens cover - the promax can use generic 'cut your own" covers, but the OEM ones are quite reasonably priced as well)
