The PROMAX 680R welding helmet with PAPR respirator is good value for money that works as well as much more expensive PAPR welding helmets that I have used and quality seems to be on par. It will be interesting to see how the longevity lasts but I don't believe it will have any issues. A bit of reseach that I've done shows a fairly extensive parts supply so it should last me for quite some time, and by then hopefully I'll be retired. Show details

I do a lot of galvanised welding and the helmet totally reduces fumes with clear vision. As a part time welder it has proved to be an assett to my health. Show details

 Follow-up  · Cleans very easily I use a soft lint free rag to wipe off any dust. It takes a bit to put on but when its on it is very comfortable. I have not used up the battery charge as I only do part time welding in a mens shed in Waroona.

Another great product from Weldclass. Works perfectly for the enviroment in which I work in and reduces any weld fumes. The battery life is great, it is easy to use and adjust the airflow as required. Show details

As someone new to welding this helmet is more than capable for my needs. Easy to make adjustments to the auto darkening and the lens is very responsive. Helmet is lightweight and comfortable.

Decent enough for the price but for heavy industrial use just doesn't cut it would suit light fabrication work fine
