I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience ordering from Who Gives a Crap. What should have been a simple delivery turned into a week-long ordeal. Our order was meant to arrive last week, but despite being home all day, we received a notification saying we had “missed” the delivery. No one knocked, no call was made—nothing. We even went… Read more
to our local post office to check if the parcel had been redirected, but there was nothing there.
After contacting customer service, we were reassured that a re-delivery would take place on 01/04/2026. However, before that date even arrived, we received yet another message saying we had “missed” a delivery again. This made absolutely no sense. We then had to call the driver ourselves and ask them to turn back.
The delivery company (ANC) has been incredibly unreliable—poor communication, no actual delivery attempts, and inaccurate notifications. It’s honestly unacceptable.
To make matters worse, we’ve now been waiting over a week for a basic household essential and have had to resort to using tissues in the meantime.
While I appreciate that delivery is handled by a third party, this still reflects on Who Gives a Crap as a business. Customers shouldn’t have to chase down their own deliveries or deal with this level of inconvenience.
I really hope this is taken seriously and addressed, because this experience has been far from what I expected.
Have been a customer for a while. Last delivery was not delivered. Contacted the courier who said they ran out of time to deliver it so they took it back to WGAC. Courier said that I have to contact WGAC to arrange another delivery. Have been trying to contact WGAC on their contact form, no reply. Tried 2 times now and still no reply. No phone… Read more

UPDATE A representative has reached out and was able to fix the problem. It's only toilet paper in the end, but as a business that relies on repeat business and word of mouth, I think their avenue to contact customer service needs to improve significantly. This particular experience was frustrating.

Very average customer service. Upon ordering items I sent an email in relation to discount. I heard back from Denver advising he would give me a $12.00 refund in this instance once items were delivered. Items were delivered today. I then sent an email requesting refund but was told no refund would be issued. I have attached a snapshot of the… Read more
partial email clearly stating a refund would be issued.Although I like the product I doubt I will order again due to their lack of ethics. Almost feels a bit scammy. Take care and buyer beware.

Annoying – On occasion I buy Who Gives A Crap Toilet Paper. This time I paid $8.50 for an 8 pack of 3 ply recycled paper. I have no complaints about the paper…I do have a big complaint about your emailing practices,I have gone through the ‘unsubscribe process’ ten times so far but the emails keep coming. The most recent arrived at 9.01 this morning titled..’Breaking Wind’…Incredibly Annoying! Just peachy – They deliver on time and let you know a few weeks before so you can change your order date in case you are running low - this usually happens in our house around Christmas time with all the extra people staying over, so I bring the order forward a couple of weeks. Best part - I never have to go to the supermarket for toilet paper! I like that… Read more · 1
there is zero plastic. The rolls are delivered in a cardboard box, rolls are individually wrapped in paper with a cardboard core. The paper is made from bamboo - soft and thick and sustainable! They last a lot longer than the average loosely rolled toilet paper from supermarkets. Sometimes Who Gives a Crap gives the option of ordering their 'Spring' or 'Christmas' roll wrappers which give a festive feel. I would like to see more special roll wrappers and think a range with graphic feather prints would be awesome in sepia tones.
It's so good that a large chunk of the profits go to providing toilets and water in countries that need them. There are so many reasons to support this innovative company. Cheers guys.
Here for the long haul – As a conscious consumer, I always seek out brands that prioritise sustainability and social responsibility, and this company goes above and beyond my expectations. With every purchase, I can rest assured that I'm contributing to a greater cause and supporting a brand that aligns perfectly with my values. It's genuinely heartwarming to know that… Read more · 1

My new Favourite Toilet Paper! – I purchase the premium Toilet Paper and I - Love the quality of the paper, no tearing or balling up at all. Love the sustainability of the product and it’s packaging. Love that the double length roll lasts so much longer than regular length rolls. Love that WGAC uses a portion of their profits to benefit developing communities. Love the subscription option. Look forward to the arrival of a new box each time. Show reply
Quality has worsened – I have been a supporter of this product for quite some time , but after my last delivery I am not sure I would order again. The quality of the latest batch of loo paper has dropped in that it doesn’t have the strength or thickness of previously ordered rolls. It is weaker, thinner, and doesn’t tear well and more is required to do the same job. I… Read more
contacted the company and provided details. The response was a lengthy spin off saying they were now using a different supplier and there was no assurance the product would return to its previous quality.

The bin bags and dog bags are excellent. I was horrified when the boxes were delivered yesterday wrapped in virgin cling wrap plastic. I’m buying these because they are recycled plastic bags but they are wrapped in virgin cling wrap. Why would a company with their philosophy and values even have virgin cling wrap in their warehouse? So disappointed. Toilet paper was hash over time.

Bought because of the pretty Xmas wrapping, these prove to be best as decorations rather than for wiping the derrier. The bamboo paper is not exactly soft and gentle. The cut length is also quite inconsistent. At 37c per 100 sheets, they're about the same as other individually wrapped rolls, but without the premium quality. I'll tolerate them as a one off festive buy, but there won't be a repeat.

I’ve been subscribing to WGAC since the COVID lockdowns and over that time we’ve noticed a significant decrease in the quality of the toilet paper. What is delivered now is quite rough and unpleasant. I get a box of 48 rolls delivered every 8… Read more
weeks. My last delivery never arrived. I was charged for it, but the box never came. Because it’s a subscription service which is direct debited, I didn’t realise the box hadn’t arrived until we ran out of toilet paper. I logged in to the website to see when it was due and that’s when I realised that two weeks earlier our box wasn’t delivered because the delivery driver “ran out of legal driving hours” whatever that means.
I contacted the delivery company who just redirected me back to WGAC.
I tried to get in touch with WGAC and discovered that you can’t actually contact them at all. There’s no phone number, no email address, nothing. All you can do is chat with their AI chat bot who says it will take the details of your complaint and submit a ticket, though there is no way of knowing if it does because you do not get any kind of confirmation.
Anyway, I submitted a ticket three times and nobody ever got back to me. It has been almost a month and I’ve heard nothing from them. So I’m basically out $58 or a full box of toilet paper.
I originally subscribed because I wanted to support Australian owned businesses but whatever WGAC is now, is not that. Their product is made in china and basically dropshipped to you and you have no way of getting in touch with them if something goes wrong. Who gives a crap? Not them, so I’m out.
There are better subscription toilet paper services that are actually Australian owned and made, that employ real people, provide a better product and customer service.
Follow-up · I keep getting prompted by product review to write a follow-up, so here it is. I still have not heard from WGAC. It's complete radio silence. I have received neither a refund nor a delivery of the toilet paper. I have submitted about 6 support tickets and had no response to any of them, and now I have given up on ever seeing my money or the toilet paper again. Who gives a crap is dropshipping at its worst.

Since back in the day of covid when toilet roll was scarce, I tended to not give a cr#p because my butt roll was never shared, except with my kids and wife. But lets face it they take everything in life. The bamboo tissue is as soft as can be and the boxes of tissues are essential ( with a teenage son, you definitely will see). So all these years later here I still remain, a loyal customer with less supermarket pain. Show reply
100% Bamboo Paper Towel Rolls Packed six to a box, these sustainable bamboo paper towels are plastic-free and biodegradable. towels to wipe up all those accidental spiils and for cleaning, as they require less land and water to produce than those made from trees. Every part, from the wrapper to the paper towel, the inner roll, and the box they are delivered in, is compostable.
What a winning product.
I cannot speak highly enough of the people at Who Gives a Crap. After many many years of brilliant service , I finally needed to cancel my subscription. To my amazement five minutes after I sent the email notifying them of my cancellation they emailed back confirming my cancellation. It was an extremely easy process. Show reply

I purchased twice but had since stopped my subscription because I find it to be an inconvenience to unwrap the roll especially when it ran out of paper in the middle of the night when I'm half asleep. In addition, I don't understand why the rolls have to be wrapped in coloured paper so they look pretty in the toilet. That creates more paper waste and I feel it is totally unnecessary to have the rolls individual wrapped.

Beautiful packaging, unfortunately with all efforts to show that the product is sustainable, it is made jn China from Recycled paper. So to consider: chemicals and low standards of recycling that are implemented in China will affect your health; shipping the product to Australia- fuel, carbon and pollution.

Thanks for getting in touch with us, and I’m sorry to hear you ordered the wrong variant! I've checked the status of the order, and unfortunately, it's too late for us to cancel it at this point. We typically have a very small window of time to make changes to an order that has been confirmed at the warehouse before it gets processed and dispatched. Moving forward, to be extra safe, best to check all details before checking out.

Who Gives A Crap Double Length Bamboo 3 Ply Toilet Paper 8 pack. Cheapo commercial toilet paper individually wrapped up to masquerade as a fancy brand/quality product. Absolute rubbish, scratchy and definitely Not soft! The Thinnest 3 ply (if you believe it Is actually 3 ply) TP I've ever tried. Never buying again.

Courier Service useless – Product is great. They have switched from Australia Post, to a third rate courier, who do not deliver parcels, do not track parcels and then mark as delivered. When I asked them about the change, no response was given. Customer Service extremely slow to respond. I have recently found that you can buy the same product, for cheaper at ALDI. 12 rolls of Bamboo for $15, compared to 48 rolls for $66 delivered.

I bought this because of their philosophy. But upon using the roll, I don't find it to be as thick and strong compared to Quilton or the Costco brands. WGAC is more expensive and the paper doesn't tear well at the perforation, and a tree sheet and 4 sheet test did not compare with Quilton. The only benefit is it is individually wrapped. Would I reorder? No.

I've used Who Gives A Crap now for 5 years. Over the last year or two (I can't pinpoint when it happened) WGAC changed their courier company to "ANC Delivers". delivered when they said it would). The latest delivery was simply a no show even though it apparently was "on the truck". Now it has mysteriously disappeared and is lost according to ANC. I called WGAC and they have arranged another order and I patiently wait to see if this is actually delivered today after having to beg my boss to be able to go home early to wait for the delivery. Regardless of whether it actually arrives I have had enough and I am sick and tired of having to chase ANC and WGAC about deliveries. I will be ordering from Amazon from now on as it seems they are infinitely better at doing their job than that train wreck ANC.
An update. I received my order today at 6pm from the second replacement and this ANC delivery man… Read more (+3 replies)

realised that while these bags are 100% recycled they are no longer recyclable and we're in packaging our organic waste in the room type of bag we would love it. I bought regularly many years ago, loved them. Recently I saw Aldi selling them, oh good I’ll try again. DO NOT buy, quality is very poor, so thin and smaller rolls too, end up virtually cleaning my butt with fingers, Def not worth the money. Aldi own rolls much superior.
