WiFi X is a scam product, but I suspect WiFix is a legitimate Adelaide business. Are these 2 reviews for the same thing?

Hi Andrew - the device makes certain claims about the ability to improve wifi speed - thats why I purchased the device, sadly it does not improve the wifi speed. It is only a wifi range extender, readily available at a lesser cost than they charge. But it does hook up to the wifi network very quickly, thats about all it does - the address for return is in Melbourne. Very slow to deliver, I would not be recommending the product. Cheers

My point was that I think WiFix is an Adelaide company completely unrelated to the product you reviewed. The product Wifi X has a UK web site but seems to be based in either Brazil or Estonia - and from what I have read is at best poor value and at worst a scam.

Do the WiFi extenders come with compatible plugs for UK use?

Four Plugs came with the device - I would not recommend this product - Cheers

"WiFi-X" or "Wifi x", otherwise known as Superboost WiFi is a scam product, not to be confused with "Wifix" (wifix.net.au), a business in Adelaide, about which I know nothing. The Superboost/WIFi X scam consists of high quality marketing with pseudo-IT gobbledygook and a product that appears to be an overpriced and low quality but otherwise ordinary WiFi booster.
