Useless time-wasting regular updates
Every time I want to use my windows it takes ages to update and then load. It is really annoying. My MacBook does it every now and then and it’s very quick. Maybe a few times a year and my windows, the most horrible experience
Microsoft newest windows 10 is lousy! It took me three days to learn how to get into my admin and change it so that the new update would supposedly work. Well it doesn't work! Pinterest keeps dropping out, other programmes don't work, and I can't use my online video-processor any more. Nor can I use the 123Apps online voice recorder anymore. Nothing wrong with my microphone, or my settings, it just wont work. Even downloaded a driver update which I had to pay $46.00 for and still no decent response. Bit.tubetv works fine youtube, not so much....Freeses up for no apparent reason, in spite of downloading the driver updates, connected fully to the internet ie wifi, ethernet, etc still drops out when on Pinterest. Problems galore which I'm having trouble fixing. Having to repeat tasks while working on a project often. Really annoying . And even though in settings I've said ask first for various options it goes ahead and does it anyway. Prefer Duck as my search engine but I often have to go into settings and reset to get Duck back again. In short its trash. When looking for files in seagate I often have to go through the same folder several times in spite that I give it the command "all files." And even then the particular meme or photo wont show up, but I definitely know it's in there. This latest changeover is crap. It really is. I cant do or find anything on my computer anymore! My videos and on line voice recorder is most disappointing. It really is no fun any more. In fact I dread going on. You failed big time on this one Microsoft.
Aneurysm inducing. Most outrageous thing Buffalo Bill has unleashed on the world so far.
It's been an entire day and I am still only starting to understand how to create a user that has access to literally anything on the computer. I can't even set a picture. I'm assuming I have to register with an email, but also update to the latest... Let me guess Buffalo Bill also doesn't see this as coercive or constraining. Also, the update is a measly 1gb and I am still waiting 15 minutes later (LAN cable connected) for the bar to move so I can assume progress, as that's the only indicator that the update is even happening.
Windows 10 a terrible system when it could be a fantastic operating system. Microsoft need to remove everything but the OS and a few basic applications. Make it like Linux allow the user to choose what software the user wants to use. Take Linux Mint, very easy to install, uses half of the RAM Windows 10 uses. Everything is organised. All Office Applications in a folder called Office, all games in a folder called Games the operating system looks at the software and files it according to its use.
I personally like to use more than one browser including edge but not any more now that windows 10 is trying to force edge on me by starting edge nearly every time my computer starts or comes out of sleep mode I have tried every way recommended to stop this but everything I have tried doesn’t work. Not only will I not use edge on my pc I have deleted it from my Android device as well. I won’t use edge again. As if I would want edge in my face if im not using the internet and you cant delete edge from windows 10 not on the version I have any...way. It didn’t do it when I bought the pc for some time so I assume it happened with the updates which of course they insist you do. Very irritating when they try and force software within the operating system on you particularly the browser. I want to use a browser of my choice without this edge popup in my face every time my pc comes out of sleep mode. Mindless strategy to irritate the person that has paid the money for the system and just looking around seems im not the only disappointed customer.
the best way to compare windows 10 . windows 10 is dialup .. windows 7 - 8.1 are nbn . this rubbish os is so slow , that mixed up and pathetic. at times windows 10 does not know what it is doing . half loads pages or sometimes not at all , you want to open pictures takes at least near a minute . at times it wont open at all . i get at least any thing from 20 to 80 add emails every day because of microsoft giving out my email address . this i have tried to stop , but have not been successful . i thought it was my fault when reformatting my compu...ters , i bought 2 laptops (used )from a computer company in sydney in last 2 weeks with windows 10 loaded into them and guess what , just as bad . but what else do you have in choices . i tried ubuntu and found that it was not much better (hard to set some items up ) . apple takes a fair bit of learning and to use it , you have to buy rather expensive systems . i have seriously been thinking of returning back to 8.1 but it wont be long before windows will drop support for it
Windows 10 = I loathe Microsoft Windows 10 - The worlds most Disobedient O/S
I have already destroyed my 2016 purchased p.c, due to extreme frustration with this o/s.
I have used Linux Mint.
It is fantastic.
Things just work.
Nothing happens without your knowledge, or consent.
Back to win 10
Windows updates are the problem .
Driver updates too....
I normally use Ubuntu but have to use Windows on occasion for proprietary software. Windows 10 is horrible to use. Every time before using there will be a 30m delay while the system completes unwanted updates, spam etc. and tracks data to sell. The system is always sluggish, slowed productivity with crappy animations and often does not work. What a joke. Feel sorry for people who have to use Windows routinely.
Printer problems...zero help from windows forums and support....updates keep changing internal settings...
I have been a Windows/PC supporter for decades....unfortunately this product is the final straw...after putting up with the failures of millennium and vista, I gladly welcomed XP and windows 7 and 8, which were far superior products that were user friendly. Windows 10 is a step backwards.
Unfortunately, I will now look to move to a MAC....windows have lost me as a fan after decades of being loyal to their products....I have contacted the...ir support and they offer generic solutions and state that the problem is with your printer drivers...which was not correct as they have been updated to the windows 10 compatible drivers. When you treat your customer base with such disdain, the result will be people voting with their wallets and feet. Product doesn't even deserve 1 Star....Extremely disappointed after using Windows 10 for more than 12 months....enough is enough...
do not i repeat do not allow it to auto update
totally wrecked my computer not allowing any program to work then would not allow me to go back on update if i could shoot the developer in the head i would
I thought it was just me.
Windows xp is better. Everything seems to be a total production. Wish my pushing twenty year old computer still worked because this is a step backwards. What are they playing at?
Uninstalled MS Edge and other bloat for the last time.
I have uninstalled MS bloatware countless times over the years. Uninstalled MS Edge for the 3rd and final time. Surely that must be some form of antitrust law violation? Blatting out competitive software?
MS continually re-installs Edge overwriting my application defaults for browsing, document viewing, etc...
If only half as much focus was put in to file management and the user experience.
All the machines that I manage now run Linux in favor of productivity except for a few that have OS dependent software installed.
I'll be evaluating my MS dependent software licenses and switching over the remaining machines wherever possible despite the initial upfront costs involved.
stupid invasive forced login just to use my operating system
in the last update microsoft have forced you to log into their microsoft account just to use windows, and then use that to spam you with ads for their services. Scummy, unnecessary, and has given me a new hatred for a company that I was beginning to like.
Microsoft 10 Very very disappointing
I am an architect so my computer is vital and paramount to my daily routine. Volume 10 has not only increased my CPU by 80% but has installedApps settings that are rubbish shame you Microsoft
Vista was better than windows 10
Never before have I experienced so many problems as in windows 10, from soundcards to keyboards and mice it is truly a very horrible operating system and seriously wish I could still use Windows 8.1
I am having trouble writing this out because the simple fact windows 10 doesn't like the logitech setpoint drivers and if you have a creative labs sound card god help you. The only benefit to windows 10 is that its the only one that allows proper Netflix content through
Microsoft should fix their software - this is absolutely pathetic

Hi Vixen, do not fear L.J.R. the brain surgeon is here. To solve your problems isn't as hard as you may think. The solution 1. go to www.iobit.com, this should take you to the Homepage of Iobit.. If y...our in Australia (as I figure you are) simply go to the top right hand corner (where the country flag is and click on it, change it to Australia). It should bring up some default programs they feature, scroll down until you can see "See our other Products" and mouse click (left) on it. This should bring up a lot of products but there are 2 that are a "Must Have" and they are completely FREE. 1st you want to click on the program icon for Start Menu 8. This will bring back the familiar start menu you used to have in windows 7/8/8.1. Left click on the Start Menu 8. Icon and you will be directed to CNet where you can download and install the Start Menu 8. Just BE CAREFUL not to "if Prompted to" install other "Offers/Programs" during the install of Start Menu 8. Once downloaded it should put the Start Menu 8. icon on your desktop. Right click on the Start Menu 8. icon and RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR' You can then install Start Menu 8. to whatever Icon you'd like to have displayed in the bottom left hand corner (Classic, Win 8,etc.) it will replace the small icon that Windows 10 has in the bottom left hand side of your screen to a "bigger icon (in size)." Complete the Personal settings for Start Menu 8. and left click on it. Suddenly your back at Home and in control of your machine again. You can access all programs even if they are "hidden" by Windows to. Go to the control panel with a simple click, restart or shut down PC or Laptop and so forth. Just like you used to be able to do in Win 7/8/8.1 2. Go back to the iobit website and the next program you will need to install is IObit Uninstaller 5. This is free as well and is voted #1 in program Uninstallation. Repeat the steps as you did to install Start Menu 8. When you go (as per usual) to Uninstall/Change a Program (in the Control Panel) you will see an extra icon of IObit Uninstaller 5 (green) which says "Powerfull uninstall". Once a program is uninstalled through the usual Control Panel Removal System sometimes it leaves behind fragments of the program. IObit Uninstaller 5 powerful scans for these fragments and completely removes all traces of a program from your system. Just make sure that you don't tick the icon box (which says "Create a restore point") as the Powerful Uninstall may take forever and it is not needed.
