GOOD ALTERNATIVE – We purchase this wine by the Dozen. Great taste light and refreshing. Good for social occasions or parties. It's not in the league of Champagne, but neither is the price.

The wine is nice but the promotion drives you mad! – I regularly purchase Wolf Blass Red Brut Chardonnay Pinot Noir and found at the last bottles a sticker "WIN A DECADE OF GRAND FINALS." OK, another promotion worth your while so I went to the wolfblass.com website to make the required entry ONLY to find that a) you need a scanner to scan the purchase docket as proof that you indeed purchased it. OK, I have a scanner, so scan it. You can only upload it in a particular format - do they think that after drinking the bottle with my darling that I am still an IT Guru? OK, I convert the Word Document to .pdf (aren't I lucky I have .pdf?) and upload the purchase docket. I thought that would be it BUT NO, the next screen tells me "GREAT, we just need some more details." BY NOW, I have completely gone off AFL or NRL and will look for a bubbly that does not offer a competition but a great taste and an even better price. I hope that the people at Wolf Blass get the message. The best promotion is discounting the wine - not offering promotions which go on until 2 August 2019. BY THEN? Yes you guessed it, the docket can no longer be read or found in the tray I keep entries for promotions! BUT will they accept the scanned purchase docket? PS The wine is worth 3 stars. The promotion 1 star!
