almost impossible to describe real experiences - especially less positive ones, which require specifics to be meaningful. This creates a biased platform that favours only vague or overly positive reviews, which I find misleading, unfair and pointless.

never shipping goods or refunding money. Home appliance plus never reply to any attempts to contact via email, phone or chat. You just won’t get what you purchase. Reporting to ACCC, ScamWatch and Fair Trading and reporting a disputed transaction with your payment provider is the only way to go. Unfortunately Word of Mouth support the appalling business practices of Home Appliance Plus by deleting negative reviews and posts made by customers. Home Appliance Plus are scamming Australians. They provide no genuine means of contact, do not respond to emails, if lucky you get an of shore call centre after multiple repeated attempts and waiting huge times to be answered on their phone number only to receive a promise of follow up that never happens, their chat is just an automated response with stock replies. They provide no genuine Australian address. Their business practices breach Australian Consumer and Credit laws and their ABN is not even registered in the state they say they are located. Unfortunately You can’t trust the reviews on Word of Mouth as they don’t support genuine reviews. You definitely can’t trust Home Appliance Plus. Don’t buy from them you won’t get what you purchase and you certainly won’t get any customer service.

womo listing works, and it's reliable. My cleaning company listing keep showing up on the first page of Google. My clients and I love Word of mouth because it's simple, easy and works all the time. I've been with Word of mouth for a few years now and dealing with Scott, my account manager, is always a pleasure. He is always keen to replay to all my emails the same day, to answer all my questions and to help me with anything I need to make my business listing better. Even when he is not available, I always find someone who can help me. Customer satisfaction is second to none. Following Scott's recommendations, my cleaning business listing in womo is bringing me more and more business every month. I can check that from my listing stats. Word of mouth, over the years, have stepped up their -behind the scene- marketing and honestly, it's worth the price we all pay for (less than the price a coffee per day). You only get rewarded for businesses that meet their criteria, mainly small, service based businesses, no general shopping. upsurge in the rewards they had to give out!

Recently the number of points required for a reward - a $20 gift card for either Big W or Westfield - has risen from 2000 points to 3000 - again, I suspect they're trying to limit their outlay on rewards.

Still, it gives an impetus to write reviews. I notice someone further down has written they only reward for positive reviews, not negative ones - this is incorrect, I've written some bad ones when they were warranted. All reviews get checked before they're posted, and I was asked to change some emotive language in one, which was fair enough.

Businesses have the right to dispute reviews, and petition to have them removed - doesn't mean they're successful, but they have the right to try.

I never used to use the site much for checking reviews, as it had no search function for individual businesses, but that changed a few months ago, and now I use it to check out businesses a lot. I'm renovating at the moment & I used it to check out some potential builders etc. Rewards!

them, they are safe, no one will ring them to sit on a phone for half an hour to get the run around ..... so i was just checking here to see if they were legit. still don't know.

Poor customer service – I experienced some of the worst customer service with WOMO. My requests were usually either ignored or they would promise to get someone from another department to look at it. No response. This would repeat for months before I just give up. I was a paying customer since 2015 but that meant absolutely nothing to them. Never again will I deal with them.

Pathetic Experience – Word of mouth is very disappointing in my experience. I put a negative review on Saturday 5th May about a business that failed to do the job despite taking a deposit amount. just to ask me via email to remove my review or update. They are such a joke that reached out to me yesterday to modify my review. That clearly shows how genuine is the business that indirectly tells consumers to either remove the negative reviews or modify it to look like positive reviews. I can't rely on word of mouth based on my experience and will not encourage anyone to use Word of mouth in the future.

Address, but their Office/Receptionist manually Verified the New Email Address for me. I've never found any fault with their Service.

However, it used to be a Very Good REVIEW SITE where People could Review all the Places they go to in Daily Life or Companies and Businesses that give them Service but sometime last year they changed things Radically to help Businesses to Promote themselves, and is no longer functioning the way it was before - that I loved, like I do Product Review, I have been a Supportive Member of many years also.

I am giving 4 Stars because for me, their Website has changed so much, it is of no use to me now. I used to take great joy in making Informative Honest Reviews for Everyday People to Benefit from and are Committed to this kind of thing.

I also like to give Workers really Good Feedback (Locally) when I can see they are Helpful, Polite and Consistent in Serving Customers. I think far too many people take out their Stress on Innocent Workers these days. But if I see lazy Workers who could have better Work Standards, they never get a Recommendation from me - they miss out.

For reasons, I don't trust "Trust Pilot".......I've read too many Negative Reports about them, and have had serious doubts about a few Searches I've made on their Website some years ago. There seems to be some Good and Bad Standards in their Service.

Well, I used to be a Member of "WebMenu" Years ago, who deleted Everyone's Reviews on their Website to my disappointment also, and now they can't be found anywhere on the Internet. They were really great for finding Good Cafes, Diners and Restaurants.

I know this is unrelated in a sense of speaking. I also had 400+ Recipes Saved on "Yummly" until some months ago when they Shut Down and sold their Domain (Web Address) to Greedy "Whirlpool" who heavily use the Revamped Website to Promote "Kitchen Aid" (atrociously expensive) and other Items Most of us Don't Want - that is our Choice! They have made a Lot of People "Hate their Products" because they Wiped Everyone's Recipes Out of Existence!

Furthermore, I will be placing an Article on my Website for Aussies oursaustralia.com this Week about Membership Websites, with the Positive Experiences like Product Review and Negative Experiences I've had (mentioned here) I will mention a few Photo Websites and a really Good Recipe Website, I won't go into here of-course. I will most certainly be Promoting Product Review for their Outstanding Faithfulness.

What's the Message in all this? I consider PRODUCT REVIEW to be the OUTSTANDING PERFORMER in all my Memberships. You are Still Here - Please don't Change Anything You Do!

Fifteen years of successful advertising – Over the years I advertised everywhere - yellow pages. local newspaper, letter box drops and shop a docket. end Paypal refunded me the money, not Baller Babe. Tried to write a review on Word of Mouth, stating the truth, and yet they wouldn't accept it. There was absolutely nothing derogatory or rude in it, and yet they wouldn't post it. They only want to put positive comments, yet you're trying to warn other people about the company you have had a bad experience about,and they won't allow it!! Unbelievable.
