The taste of woollies beef sausages has changed. I used to love them, now I’ve told my husband don’t put any on my plate. There’s an awful taste that I can’t quite work out. I just know I hate it. I won’t be buying them again. Show details

If there was a negative number it would have got it. Terrible smell, texture and taste along with no skin. Highly processed and lots of unknown chemicals in the ingredients. Will never ever go back and by any more ever again. Show details

Not worth one star – So Woolworths has not only shrunk its 600gm pack of beef sausages to 550gms, but also ruined the taste. The 600gm 8 pack had a nice rich beef flavour and was an affordable family favorite. But that's all changed with the new 550gm 10 pack which can only be described as having a tainted flavour with a strange aftertaste. What used to be a popular… Read more

product to bbq and feed the family has been ruined by some genius seeking to make larger company profits by shrinking the pack size and using inferior ingredients. Well Woolworths genuis(es), you've lost these longtime consumers and no doubt, many others.

Woolworths 8 pack of beef sausages – I buy the 8 pack and noticed instantly the recent ingredients change to these sausages. What was once a great tasting beef sausage, is now pumped with cheap fillers and they are nothing short of foul and flavourless for the most part!! The psyllium husk and pea husk additives must be in huge quantities as, that is literally all you can taste!! I… Read more

also previously have noticed for months, the sliminess when cooking these sausages, and white god knows only what bubbling out from them along with said slime upon cooking!! Funnily enough, a real beef sausage does not do this upon cooking so, It begs the question exactly what you eating? Also why make them gluten free? Ridiculous pandering for sales considering not every one is gluten intolerant, nor do they care about collagen with the casing this alone being solely done to appease Muslims with their halal crap!! If you want sales so desperately, do what other supermarkets do and bring out a halal section instead of making us all sick with foods catering to immigrants to this country, that are scientifically proven to not be compatible with western diets, and bodies making everyone sick, suffer and eating the same garbage for ten times the price!! Crookworths has no right to call themselves Australian any longer when they will stoop lower than fleas for greed alone!! Not worth $2 let alone the exorbitant unjustified price of an 8 pack. Better for the pets food perhaps!! I'd rather go out to a farm and have my meat slaughtered for me today than buy meat from a supermarket such as here. Never buying meat from here ever again the disgraces.

Awful – I bought some beef, chicken and sweet chilli chicken. The beef and chicken don't taste like they used to and they are way thinner than they used to be, shrink flation at its best. Also the new slotted plastic trays are horrible. Show details

Thieves! – I have been buying these sausages for quite some time, they are now down to eight in the 600 gram packet. Like the pork they have always been $5 for the pack of eight . They are handy and tasty and they made a cheap meal. But like everything else in Woolwoths they went up in price overnight by $1.50. How is that justifiable? Woolworths has become… Read more

Sausages? What sausages? – I’d give these zero stars if it was possible. They were well presented in the meat department of a Woolworths supermarket and looked appealing. To cook them I should’ve taught them to swim first. They lost so much liquid ( a very watery fat) that there was little sausage left when cooked. This was perhaps a blessing because the taste was almost… Read more

non existent. They were no credit to anyone calling themselves a butcher let alone the big name Woolworths. I would ask for my money back except it would cost me more to make the trip. Not good enough and deceptive Woolworths because you’re not living up to what’s left of the tattered reputation that Brad left you with.
