Woolworths 5 Shortcrust Pastry Sheets

Hard like a tree bark once baked. Awfully to eat it.

A total waste of money, ingredients and time using this to bake a tart. This stuff is worse than a hard crunchy brittle pizza base. It has no resemblance to shortcut pastry. At a minimum you would need to press two or three sheets together to come close to a normal crust. Even then I doubt that would work. The sheets once baked are so hard and brittle that it is literally like biting through a thin piece of ply wood and about as tasteless. Just don't bother.
