I would rather give zero stars No water should smell or taste like that have just thrown out a 24 bottles and will not buy again it’s worrying the smell from it, smells toxic Show details
10L Woolworths spring water. Bad batch, expiry 2027. Purchased January 2026. Don't buy! Has a strong plastic taste. Took back to store, asked if I wanted a store credit. I laughed in her face... "No, a refund!". She was completely disinterested. Show details
Appalling water that tastes like plastic. Just another example of Woolworths cutting corners. I’m assuming it’s just filtered water masquerading as spring water. Show details
Halfway drinking Woolies 600ml spring water, colour turned cloudy and taste awful. Show details
I used to love Woolworths water…now it makes me feel sick, nauseas. I had to get antibiotics cos I got the runs twice! The test my doctor made me do, came back as “cross contamination”. It smells of chlorine. I bought 2 cases, now I’m gonna feed the plants with it, I hope they don’t die! Show details
Has been giving me diarrhea the last few batches will never buy again. Show details
Would rather drink Dampier tap water. Woolworths your CEO earnt 8.6 million dollars, maybe use some of that money and source some actual drinkable water to sell. Show details
Australian slight sparkling water Yop opening – The tops are too tight. Not possible yo open. Crazy need pliers to do it.
Smells like a pool – Smells and taste like chlorine absolutely disgusting and has given me a sore throat. Rang woolworths up on the number provided and the guy hung up on me and pretended he couldn't hear me after speaking with me at first. Show details
Do not buy unless u want fart smelling water – There is something wrong with this water, it smells like someone farted in the bottle, last 6 or 7 batches over 3 months have done this. Weirdly I have also been feeling unwell the last 3 months, will be making a complaint to the health department Show details
What’s happened to Woolworths brand waters!? – I’m unsure what’s going on as I’ve been purchasing this water for years without issues - tasted very clean but the last batches I can taste something not right! Just doesn’t taste normal I’ll have to take them back judging by the other comments here! Show details
Dangerous – I have been buying Australia mountain waters spring water for about a year, it seemed ok, but the last batch of 6 X 10ltr containers I bought had a seriously distinct bad chemical odour and taste, I tossed them all out, for the sake of your health don't touch it, Show details
Beware – Possibly the worst diarrhoea of my life, I don't know where they source this stuff, but beware, previous batches have been OK, but will never buy again Show details

Swamp Water – Purchase the slab every week, but this last batch is absolute crap. It has a bad odour and Stale taste. I'm taking the remaining bottles to run under the electron microscope to see what Woolworths are selling here. Seriously it sometimes smells like swamp water. Look forward to see the lab results. Cheers. Show details
Briliant water. Simple as that – The review said I had to state facts. Easy. 1. I'm 57, and have drunk water from bottles containing BPA as well as those that don't. I've even drank from garden hoses, and mountain streams. This water tastes like water. It's extremely convenient and some of the highest quality water I've had in my life. 2. I feel that there are many delicate… Read more
petals in the world. I was careful to use the new victim 'feel' language so nobody could whine about my feelings. It's water. Simple. It's something like 50 cents a bottle and when I return my BPA laden little chemical plant I get 10 cents back. It warms my heart knowing that some petal will sit on a BPA laden park bench.... he he...
Stale – Just isn’t a great water taste at all. It doesn’t Taste fresh or even refreshing
Always on Hand – These come in a 24 pack and are 600ml each. The cost is $9.50. It seems silly to pay so much for water when it comes out of the tap for next to nothing but we buy it for the convenience. We keep it near the garage so that it's easy to grab when going out for a while. It has saved us heaps of money as we don't need to purchase any drinks when we… Read more
are out. It also ensures that we stay hydrated. We also like to give some to our adult kids as they leave, particularly on hot days as the trip home is a fair distance and they always appreciate it. The taste is fine, nothing special but pure and clean. The bottles are flimsy and need to be handled with a little care but this makes the product cheaper and uses less plastics.
Cannot open and pour it – Tastes fine but very difficult to puncture the necessary hole, then impossible to push up the lever to squirt it out. I returned one to Woolworths and neither the man nor lady there could pour it either. It's damaging my hands and neck trying. I thought I'd buy another to try again but same issue. Show details
Taste is terrible – Tastes terrible now. Feels like tap water. Not sure if it relates to change in bottle/cap or something else Show details
Why would a responsible company sell like this! – The water being sold by Woolworths is still in plastic bottles that are not BPA-free despite the health risks being made public by leading authorities. It puts into doubt the question of whether Woolworths cares for its customers or not!
Suddenly foul – Been drinking Woolworths spring water for years but the most recent purchase tastes dirty. Lift your game woolies Show details
Best priced water available – Really good and sturdy packaging. Reasonable pricing and available at most of the Woolworth's stores.

Contaminated water bottle – Last week we bought 5 cartons of 600ml Woolworths Spring Water and they all taste like moldy vegetable. The taste reminds me of the smell coming from your pantry when you leave your rotten vegetables (potato) in it.
Woolworths Australian Spring Water – Unfortunately I purchased a 20 pack of 600ml Woolworths Australian Spring Water and it is the most vile tasting Water I have ever tasted. I'll be throwing out the whole remaining 19 bottles unopened. It's horrible.
Spring Water 10 litre bottles – We have been buying this product for at least a year now, with no problems, all of a sudden the last 7 bottles taste absolutely gross. The taste is so bad we have sent off a test bottle of our rainwater tank so we can start using that again. We won't be purchasing this water ever again. Show details
Salt water Contaminant – Having tested woolworths spring water, and it comes up at 200 parts per million salt. Just barely legal. This is not spring water it is bore water. A total lie and rip off. Show details
This has a funny taste to it. It's not good at all – This has a metallic taste to it. It doesn't seem to be spring water. Show details
Surprised by the Chlorine After Taste In Woolworths Spring Water – To be fair, my family has been drinking Woolworths Spring Water (24 bottle pack) for years without any issues so it came as an unpleasant surprise that the current batch contained some bottles of water with distinct chlorine after taste. If I find that this is an ongoing issue, I will definitely be switching to the Coles brand Spring Water in the future. Show details
Awful – It has an awful after taste and yuck - havnt had that with any mineral water before.. tried a few bottles and all were the same - don’t waste your money - something not right with this
Good economical water – This multipack of water is good to have at home when there can be any water contamination due to storms, this has happened to us, so now we know what to do. The plastic bottles are convenient and can be taken out when travelling to. It’s Australian water which is refreshing and tasty.
Woolworths Spring water brand – Cant believe someone wrote this water contains chlorine. iI would like to tell that person to go and get a life. This water tastes pure and refreshing. And thats it. Show details
so bad !! – This water tastes gross makes me sick i prefer coles or mount franklin water any day. this water has a disguting taste to it and it makes me very sick. Show details
Nasty! – Tastes just like horrible tap water. Has a chloride taste. Not nice and refreshing at all. I always buy the Coles brand, I find its the best. I had only bought the Woolworths brand because all of the Coles stores all over the country were closed. Show details
Terrible. Reeks of chloride – While labelled 'spring water' it reeks of chlorine! I filled a glass, brought it up to my face and felt like I had stepped into a public swimming pool. I bought this brand on impulse, as it was marked down. I need chlorine free water for a few fussy Calatheas and ferns that I grow. I could NOT use this stuff, as it seems to have more chemicals added to it than tap water does. Be warned!
