Woolworths Chicken Kiev Bites With Creamy Garlic Filling

Today I purchased the 4 pack Woolworths Chicken Kiev & cooked 1 tonight for my dinner following the directions provided. I enjoyed the quality of the chicken no problem BUT there was NOT a hint of the garlic as described in the summary of ingteduents in this product which was hughly disappointing. removed from a real chicken leg. Secondly, the rubbery consistency of the reconstituted 'meat' holds the aroma of what Woolworths describes as a "creamy garlic centre". The only problem is the "creamy garlic" tastes like it's made from manufactured garlic paste, tastes revolting and has the consistency of baby vomit. The Woolworths' makers obviously don't eat this rubbish themselves. They should be renamed 'Banducci's revenge'. The Coles equivalent, while also reconstituted chicken, taste better even with their strange aftertaste. And no, I don't work for Coles. The best chicken kievs are made with real chicken legs stuffed with real buttery garlic sauce. You would be far better off spending a bit more and buying your chicken kievs from a specialist chicken butcher. And no, I'm not a specialist chicken butcher. Take note Woolworths and Coles.
