Rough as guts. Only for tools you don't care about – I sharpen knives and tools at a local Repair Cafe. This tool has an extremely course grit. It's worse than the roughest disk on an angle grinder. stone to remove the steel burs (not something you want in your food) and restore the edge. Also not suitable for good chisels where you need a clean edge. I may dismantle it and reuse the motor because I would feel guilty giving it away.

dont bother even if it is free – the angle part that holds the blade moves !!!! it is just soft plastic, and your blade isnt secure at all. all attachment has super cheap feeling to it, they all wobble during use. luckily it was only 25$. but could got a nice burger vs this pos. Show details

Rubbish bit sharpener – Do not buy as a drill bit sharpener, rubbish I am taking it straight back ! ! ! ! ! ! It is so inaccurate it will destroy your bits, I followed the instructions very poor quality quality, so inaccurate and would take forever to fidle about to sharpen to a decent quality. Show details

Needs a practical ability but it does kind of work – I tried to sharpen a chisel on a stone and it was taking forever so I thought I'd give this baby a try. It does work but with a big caveat. As another person has said, you can't reall sharpen a flat surface on a circular stone so you can't create the right shape but you can create a sharp tip with a narrow and somewhat stepped cutting edge. It is a very inexpensive item and unless you are looking for perfection its excellent value. Sharpening knives is tricky. You can sharpen one side beautifully but when you switch the knife to the opposing slot you chew up the knife pretty badly. The first side you are sharpening with the rotation of the stone but with the second side you are sharpening against the direction of rotation and its horrid. Such a shame! A small redesign which would let you put the knife in the other way round (ie backwards) would solve the problem. Either way you need a steel to hone the edge after sharpening. You end up with a sharp blade which is what is required but it doesn't look great.

It's a sharp piece of kit – I liked my multi sharpener. Easy to set up, an u get great results. Obviously its not made for heavy duty items, like shears, lawnmower blades etc. But for lite weight items, chisels, scissors an especially drills, its just great. Show details

Works well for the DIY at home – Based on the past reviews I have found that this Multi Function Sharpener works well. Its all about how you set it up, making sure the leading edge is the highest point. The Grind stone does not leave marks on the drill face. I have sharpened all my blunt drill bits & i would recommend this item highly. Show details

On special atm, but don't bother – Set it all up as stated in the manual, the plastic has lots of flex and effects the accuracy , but the biggest issue is the grinding wheel is so course that the finish on the drill is extremely course hence your drills etc will not stay sharp for long, I am not happy and will be returning this thing. Show details

Satisfied, but patience required with drill sharpening – Purchased yesterday and has worked as required. After watching the ozito youtube video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rb-8huT845s and taking tips from the links at the 36 second mark, became more comfortable with drill sharpening which does require a little bit more attention.

Hot Garbage – Ruined 1 drillbit, the instructions are ridiculous, just ended up with a blunt drillbit. Not game to try it on a chisel or knife. Absolute garbage and will be taking it back for a refund.

Some say it's JUNK – Most of the reviews on here say Workzone drill sharpener is junk, well I totally disagree, NOW if your wanting to resharpen drills or chisels or planer blades it's totally ridicules piece of garbage it's not even worth calling it junk. However if like me you can reuse the electric motor, it's not a bad piece to upcycle. So if you want it for it's intended use, don't bother its Cr*P

Good little motor shame rest is poor – Tried to sharpen chisels but even though it does grind away the metal ok the guides don't give consistent angles which is a must when sharpening chisels! Drills not too good either. It's the angle guides that are total rubbish.

great tool – dont know what you are talking saying its crap. i'v just bought this one day ago and sharped all the things it says it can do even my 10mm drill bits are very sharp now

cutting edges were sharpened to a more equal length than they were previously. The drill cut metal (I tried some 316) easily and to size. I bought the product as I had been considering such a product to do the smaller drills with and this one was the cheapest available (I am of Scottish decent). Disappointing from Aldi, usually better quality – This drill sharpener is poor quality, it is never going to sharpen a bit. Will only scratch the tip if even bothered to set it up. Now to take it back.

This sharpener is hopeless, dont bother buying it – Purchased this sharpener with the intention of sharpening my drill bits. No such luck! it is absolutely terrible, just left burrs on the cutting edge, I am just glad I did not use my good drill to try it out. I certainly would not recommend.
