I used to be a member of this rubbish overpriced "timeshare" I paid $12000 cash for 6000 points over 20 years ago under pressure from the sales team in one of their "free" gift for attending seminars because of my, now ex, partner. than enough! A year later we could not get into any of the places because they had been booked a year earlier by existing members. I fought and managed to secure a 5 day holiday in Kirra beach. Later init was almost impossible to get into any of the places we wanted to. To make matters worse they started increasing the number of credits required to book minimum number of nights and started calling me about increasing my credits to get into the places we wanted to. I already knew their tactics and told them to get lost. I stopped paying the levies on the ground I couldn't get into ANY of the places due to "not having enough credits!" I tried selling it but nobody with any knowledge wanted it. Eventually, I just gave it up. I dislike this company and their dirty sales tactics. My advice to anyone who is looking at buying ANY TIME SHARE to get advice from consumer affairs department in their state prior to signing any purchase document. If you attend any of their seminars, just stick to your guns.... No means no. Tell the sales person "we're going to think about and contact you. You don't contact us please".

Club Wyndham South Pacific is celebrating 25 years young this year. I am a relative new Owner ( going 8 years) and loving my membership. All these places staying and using either club resorts or membership benefits like Timeshare Exchanges such as RCI and Interval International. We have been owners since 2001 our children were 30 and 27 and we no longer had financial burdens so could afford to purchase into Trendwest. about today. Skiing at Dinner Plains, Reef and Rainforest in Port Douglas as well as Perth, Tasmania and Dunsborough. The absolute favourite always comes back to Kirra and Caloundra as family are real surf and sand lovers foremost.

As a couple we have had multiple trips to the USA annually between 2008 up to 2019, making use of a huge number of locations across the USA and Canada, along with using Wyndham Rewards hotels visiting many of the iconic National Parks enjoying the scenery and history as well as coming across expats in many locations. Still hopeful of going back to explore New Mexico, Texas and Alabama and anywhere inbetween.

In these recent years along with continuing to enjoy family holidays, we have also been travelling to many of the Australia resorts revisiting locations and doing things we could not afford to do with children or multiple adults. There are still a couple of Australian resorts to still get to and from October 2024 through 2025 we have used a combination of our FF points for flights and Club Wyndham for accommodation visited every Australian state excluding Northern Territory, still creating great memories even at our quite senior ages.

The grandchildren now also share our membership when possible with their partners. I keep trying to educate them all as they will one day be the owners and have many years ahead to use it. Although the youngest grandchild will be 70 when the club is set to wind up in 2080 so I would love to be a fly on the wall when all that happens.

Love Wyndham accommodation as it is truly like 'a home away from home' which we appreciate and we could not travel in any peak times if it was not for our Membership. Things have changed over time but that is life and we just have to live and travel accordingly.

The accommodation at all the resorts has always been fantastic and together with wonderful helpful staff our stays are always enhanced. We must also mention the many friends we have made along our journeys many of whom we have further catch ups with outside our Wyndham stays.

We thank Wyndham and express our appreciation and gratitude for the opportunities and the memories created and look forward to many more together with our extended Wyndham family.

Over the last 23 years we couldn’t have had so many holidays without Wyndham membership. We just spent three weeks in Beautiful Fiji Denarau Island 2 bedroom ocean view apartment. Simply horrible, they collect the money from new owners but the room numbers don't increase. You can never find accomodation. Customer service has no clue, they read out to you stand scripts" I am hearing your frustration" "I apologise for the inconvenience", which becomes tiring every month....All they care about is getting you to buy more credits and then they disappear again....Disgusting program...

membership has now been taken the proceeds to sale after Wyndham taking the possession of vacation credits despite without our knowledge. We are absolutely disgusted about their decision. Wyndham has no explaination about how much the cost of per credit points convert into australian dollar. It is way too expensive and there is no guarantee about the accomodation as you have to book it in advance atleast for a year, however we have wasted soo much money and I dont think this is worth it considering there are now cheaper accomodation that rises everywhere in the market or you can book online straight away at your convenient time rather than waiting from them to generate the available periods plus if I was only given this specific leave from work I dont have a choice but to take it.

relation to the same product or service, that's when they start moving. While I saw one reviewer suggesting a Class Action, from my experience this a) costs money many of us don't have and b) if successful (which can take years) in the end it's only the lawyers that make money out of it. Hope a good few of you raise a complaint with the ACCC - all we did was copy and paste our review from here, took a couple of minutes, and we received an acknowledgement email very quickly.

My wife and I have been members for about 20 years, have paid our monthly levy fees when due and have stayed in many of their Australian resorts with (usually) good experiences. The levy fee started at about $100/month, has risen progressively and is now $124/month. Taking an average of $112/month, over 20 years that amounts to nearly $27,000 - and that's apart from the initial purchase price ($15,000 + interest). We hace certainly NOT received $42,000+ in vacation benefits over that time! Recently, however, we tried to make another booking - only to find, whichever resort we looked at, they were booked out for at least 12 months in advance and, in many cases, 15 months. So, we contacted Wyndham and asked what the cost was to buy the amount of credits we had - it was over $30,000. We then asked how much they would pay us to buy our credits - they offered $2,000!!!! We have stopped paying the monthly levy fee, as we are now pensioners and can no longer afford it, can't sell the credits (which will expire soon anyway) and the whole experience has been a waste of money. As for the lengthy booking times, I just wonder if Wyndham actually have all these rooms in the first place, or if they are fake entries in a computer booking system, showing as being booked out just to make it look like Wyndham is so popular they are booked out months in advance. Be interested to hear others views. Note that another person on this Review site has said that Wyndham's practices are in violation of Australian Consumer Law - I'm no legal expert, but I'd be keen to hear from anyone with either more details or an interest in taking things further legally.

precious time and bringing on a migraine. Today we had the pleasure once more of being on the Wyndham merry go round. While standing at the front desk of a "Wyndham" resort, owned by Wyndham Rewards as opposed to Wyndham South Pacific, were informed by the concierge we can only book our two night stay with Wyndham points online only. After the "guess which branch of company to call as this resort is not even listed online", Wyndham Rewards needed for Club Wyndham points to be transferred from Wyndhan South Pacific. The only way this could happen was through RCI, another branch of the Wyndham family who could not locate this resort so could only exchange 5000 Club Wyndham points for a competing hotel located next door and for us to pay the rest in cash $320 for the stay. You probably have got a headache just reading this and come to the conclusion its just too hard, (while knowing monthy installments are being siphend out of your account). The main complaint is that if there is a problem with booking through the Wyndham Webpage they will insinuate that its clearly with the customers for not understanding how to use their complicated process. After lengthy mediation (more time wasted) and our issues apparently esculated, it was decided the product is of no use to us as we do not want to waste any more time and money while feeling completely inadequate trying to use their convoluted and contradictory processes.

holidays, roughly $2,400 per night it worked out to. Another thing to note is I could always book into the resorts through booking.com and at really good rates. To make matters worse I transferred my credits over to RCI this year as i along with most others couldn’t get anywhere booked, only to find out it’s just as bad to firstly navigate the site and secondly pay even more to use these credits. I moved to the UK in March and can’t transfer over to the UK RCI so would need to stay up late to phone New Zealand (another expense) to try and book anything. Most places I have looked at are all inclusive like Cancun and you’re looking at thousands of $ on top of your credits per week stay! I joined a holiday club after a great sales pitch whilst on holiday to the Gold Coast thinking it would be great as we love our holidays and have 2 per year, if only I’d came across this forum back in 2004! I tried to get out of this and was suggested to hand it over to a family member! I wouldn’t give it to my worst enemy!
