products like Norton and MacAfee have 'blocked' the install but I uninstalled Norton and NOTHING changed. Their service staff do not know how to guide a customer using an ACER PC though millions of these have been sold throughout the world. They did send me a video showing how to turn OFF secure boot but the guide was only of use if you were using an ASUS PC. Have spent hours on this trying to install and numerous email communications all to no effect. The advertising for this product is totally deceptive as it is NOT easy to install. Having read all the reviews it seems the 1 out of 5 overall rating is spot on accurate.

This is a big fat LIE & a straight up scam – The advert is a load of absolute rubbish, I bought one, in 2019, paid $45.00 for it and the first thing one has to do is go to a web site and download a program to activate it. That's the exact opposite of what the advertisement states. My suggestion, SAVE YOUR MONEY & CLICK OFF THE ADD. It is a load of lies. I no longer have the item handy, but it is sitting in the bottom drawer somewhere.

No reply to online chat in 24 hrs – I would like to resuscitate a few old PCs lumbered with Vista, W7 & W8.1. xtra-pc seemed a contender as I had heard about over many years. I did some research to see if would run on varied hardware I had before disposing of items. No reply to chat from https://www.xtra-pc.com/products/xtra-pc-ultra-64gb after 24 hours helped me decide no to bother. I will probably go with a Linux lite distro afer some other research.

Scam and rubbish...it does not work! – I ordered one. So many instructions and procedures when you plug it to the computer. And the result...it does not work. I returned the product....no response. Stay away from this mob and the product!!!Stay away!!

Working great since September 2019 – No complaints from me so far (Feb 2026) works well for me on a 2010 Windows 7 laptop. Took me some time to set up the WiFi link, but has not stopped working.

Scam and rubbish – I have a couple of old Win10 laptops that I was having issues booting up. I read the website for this product, it spelt out my exact problem and said it was simple to use and would fix the problems. Ive been in IT for 40 years, however after 3 hours of trying to get it working I've given up. It's a waste of money and time. I suppose it will be a waste of money and time to get a refund.

Not working as described, lack of customer support – Plugged it in as requested, double-clicked on the 'to-use' as indicated, nothing. Then it wanted me to 'Format' the USB, which would have deleted the contents and program. Enter Cancel to not delete and the same page for 'Format' continually came up. Took over my other work. my other 4 comments had been lost (but I was still in the same chat??) Frustration and no assistance has brought me to look at making a video for posting, & creating a FB Page for buyer beware, of me smashing the Xtra-PC 64GB Pro with a hammer, as if they lose my comments on an active live 'Chat', I can only imagine the impossibility of trying to obtain a refund.

A fast operating system ! – Plugged in to my old Windows 7 computer - works well. Wifi internet is 5 times faster than Windows. Very impressed - more testing to be done. Paid $90Aud delivered to Brisbane.

EXPENSIVE – Paid $71.69 but can be downloaded free on internet to USB stick. Did some research after paying for it and decided I was not computer literate enough to use it so was kindly refunded without any problem. Could probably be good for people who know all about Linux system because that is what it is.
