Best beer ever invented – This is pretty much liquid gold created by the gods.

Changed the way it is gassed – I was drinking xxxx but since the Japanese took over and changed the way it is gassed it is no longer my beer. Japanese also took over CUB and changed the mid strength beer. Both now not purchased by me. Show details

lost its flavor – i have been drinking xxxx gold since it started out, back then known as xxxx lite. they have definately lost the original blend,i know of at least 12 people in my local area from 3 different drinking holes who have said the same and have changed to other mid strength beers, and unfortunately after 40 odd years i will be doing the same.

Very disappointed – We have been drinking Xxxx Gold since we moved to Qld in 2011. We have to say, we are very disappointed in the beer since the floods in February. For example: we bought 2 cartons of xxxx gold stubbies on Wednesday 19.04.2022 and have tried to drink 1 carton so far and there was approx 6 flat and we cannot tell until you open them. Very easy to make one. Grab a glass. Half fill with beer & half with lemonade. That's it. Too easy! :)

Great Beer – It's my go to beer for any occasion. It's smooth and refreshing. Great with all foods or as a food substitute hahah..

Urine flavoured water – This is a beverage for people who hate beer and don't want to be 'that guy who hates drinking beer' so they end up ordering a XXXX so they have an easier time hiding their cringing facial expression when they take a sip. It's essentially watered down macro-beer that you should not spend cash on.

more taste than most – A good mid strength beer that has more taste than most and is lower carbs than standard XXXX. Its sales must say something about its popularity as it is one of the biggest sellers in Australia despite all the advertisements. Would recommend it to anyone who likes a traditional Aussie beer with less sugar. Inexpensive and full of flavour.
