buying, I triple checked and they had sent me the spec sheet for an incompatible model as "proof" - not the model I bought - which was in fact compatible.

I contacted Yakima gain and brought this to their attention - they apologised for their "mistake" and then stated that I must have installed it incorrectly.

I detailed that I had installed exactly as per their instructions, and they came back and stated that they were not liable for damage their product caused.

Be very very careful of this product, unless a few thousand dollars of damage is something you'd welcome.
